On one hand, I believe God has protected Trump, his family and his running mate, (and his family) from harm. On the other, I refuse to believe a bunch of freaks who believe in witchcraft are anything other than unironic idiots. Who are getting scammed by con artists.
I think it's fucking hilarious that even in their delusional interpretation of reality they're cucked by El Naranja and the forces of good.

I go to customer sites in the south a couple times a year and I'm pretty confident I would have a freak "workplace accident" if I started mocking the accent of a bunch of rough, gruff union tradesmen.
I grew up in Florida and still live there, though my paternal family is from New Jersey. Earlier this year, my father was sitting at a table having a meal with my grandmother and aunt and put on an exaggerated fake redneck accent to mock one of his cousins's wife's relatives from South Carolina who was opposed to certain racial language being taken out of American folk music. I was so angry my face and arms were bright red with rage. I must've had a look on my face because he asked me hours later what was wrong, and I gave him some sugar-coated answer to avoid a shouting match, but he was able to see through it and shouted at me, left the room, then came back and mocked some of my personal tics.

Just random things:
Watching the Texas Tech/TCU game and just saw a Cruz ad. As far as I know this is a nationally broadcasted game (I don't live in TX) so it couldn't have been cheap.

Yesterday I saw a large group of bikers in a church parking lot gearing up for some kind of ride or parade. Lots of Trump flags, signs, and American flags. God bless America.

Not to PL but I live in a rural area and my local, small polling place has been busier than I've ever seen it, especially during early voting.

Saw a weird sign combo in an affluent front yard: Harris/Walz right next to a local Trump aligned republican running for state office. Kudos for their ability to hold opposing viewpoints in their head, I guess.

Beyonce might have read an announcement endorsing Kamala, but the fact she didn't sing a note means 1) they couldn't afford her doing more than the bare minimum and 2) her endorsement isn't serious. If she was really concerned about the state of the union Bey would have pushed harder. This almost smacks of reluctance and possibly some strong urging to toe the line.

ETA: Most states have prohibitions against electioneering, and that includes wearing merch. You can stay outside the building and wear gear, hold signs, and encourage voters, but once you're inside you have to put all that stuff away. It keeps candidates from pressuring and annoying the electorate while they're voting.

Speaking of spooky witchery, watch out for black magic this election!

The (mostly tranny) wackos on r/witchesvsthepatriarchy are invoking the dark arts!

Fortunately, this spell two years ago didn’t seem to work. Must have been the moon or something!

It would be so funny to go into that subreddit and post about doing spells to cancel out their spells. Candles and all.

Around the South you can't really get away with it but in quite a few places having the accent is seen as a bad thing, especially if you are an individual not around people with the accent.

>woman comes to vote wearing Trump gear
<They tell her she can't
That can't be legal, can it? This is just going to provoke more people to wear trump merch at the polls, out of spite even.
Each state has their own laws about it, but most states have banned wearing election materials like buttons, t-shirts, and hats to polling places for a long time. This prevents brawls breaking out in the line.

Both parties are also banned from having election materials such as posters, yard signs, or pamphlets within a certain distance of a polling place in most states.

I know some states do have laws against it. I think it falls under the idea that you can't do any campaigning within a certain distance of polling places.

If you work in tech and have a strong southern accent, you get low-level mocked really hard until you lose it. It's how I lost mine.
I got pissed and made sure mine was more pronounced, even picking up more out of date slang. Not tech per-se, but not in the south and white collar technical work. It also keeps you from having to interact with the chinese and indians as much because they can't understand you.

So smug today..

it's eerie to me how you can watch her in the speeches looking at the crowd, and when she's not talking, she's doing the autistic liar thing of studying people to see if they're buying the bullshit. what a snake.
