I think it's a big shame. I love a country Southern accent just as much as a Long Island cawfee tawk one, the New England "I forgot my r" speak, and even the Midwest nasal affect. Instead we're all adopting annoying California upspeak. Tragic.Accents all over the country are fading away- not just because of mass media, but cultural pressure like this.
In Kentucky we have a position called "Poll Sheriff". They are not actually cops but their job is to remove anyone that is electioneering or campaigning from the polling place and to escalate it to the police if necessary. Usually there is one poll sheriff from each party. no signs, hats or shirts inside or within 100 feet of the polling place. It's called electioneering and a guy was arrested for that at my local polling place for wearing an Obama shirt.
I've known Tony Hinchcliffe was gay based for almost a decade. I saw him open for Joe Rogan in front of about 1500 blue haired Seattle teenagers during the 2016 primaries and his entire set was 20 minutes of crowd work while savagely shitting on Bernie Sanders voters. Between shitting on Bernie voters he would do his impression of a Bernie voter, which was just him saying "BERNIE!" over and over in a whiny, effeminate voice. It reminded me of something Sam Hyde would do. That was around the same time Bernie was getting more donations from Seattle than Hillary was.Looks like with Schulz and Rogan the blessing to support Trump is allowed, I do hope Shane Gillis' Trump shows up:

Just remember the people who think they're so smart are actually oblivious faggots:

That’s the worst part. Not only is it homogenization, it’s blurring into the most annoying accent imaginable. Imagine a grown man talking like a fucking valley girl.I think it's a big shame. It's a policy outline by a think tank not associated with either party or candidate. A wish list for a group of crazy people and probably made to poison Trump's campaign. The Heritage Foundation I think?I think I've asked this here before but does Project 2025 actually mean anything?
its a plan of action for the next GOP administration. The heritage foundation does a similar plan for each admin since atleast president Reagan. They work with the party to achieve these goals. they usually get 50-70% of it done in a term.I think I've asked this here before but does Project 2025 actually mean anything?

Carbonated drinks will always be pop or dope to me. bags will be pokes. A stream is a creek. fires are fars, towers are tires and tires are towrs. My first boyfriend was Californian, and made fun of my Midwestern "pop." I still say "soda" to this day. Half a dozen other things, too. He was a prick.

The only people that ever teased me for my accent were West coasters. As soon as they heard you speak, they would immediately assume you were uneducated and treat you as such. It got so bad, I subconsciously trained myself to lose the accent. Now, you can't tell where I grew up sans 4-5 words that I still say weird. My first boyfriend was Californian, and made fun of my Midwestern "pop." I still say "soda" to this day. Half a dozen other things, too. He was a prick.
Coke, you weirdo.Carbonated drinks will always be pop or dope to me.
Nobody wanted to see that. Gross.
These people can't even come up with plausible fantasy gotcha scenarios.
The confederacy could have freed every black slave on day one, and given them citizenship; and the north still would have invaded
No.Wasnt the jre interview meant for Harris? Did she back out last minute or something?
No. It's just policy suggestions and Democrats jumped on it like bitches in heat and they've been using it as fear porn.I think I've asked this here before but does Project 2025 actually mean anything?
I don't understand why he feels like he has to placate leftoids by offering to have their numb shithead cunt of a candidate on so she can cackle for hours. They already hate his guts, he could remain totally silent and they'd still accuse him of interrupting her or talking over her because they're fucking crazy and live in an alternate reality.No.
There was a major push from Trump supporters to get Rogan to interview Trump that Rogan spent years refusing to do. Only in the last month, when Trump did his big podcast push, did Rogan relent. But, after agreeing to host Trump, Rogan tried to cover his ass with the lunatic left by offering to host Harris too in a separate episode to be recorded around the same time as Trump and releasing both episodes back to back.
While Trump agreed to a "nothing off limits" interview with Rogan right away, Harris kept making multiple demands including it in writing that Rogan would be limited to only certain topics and questions all of which would have to be approved by Harris ahead of time. And ultimately at the eleventh hour, before she was to go on the show to record her interview, Rogan told her that said demands were not going to happen and Harris pulled out of the planned interview in a huff.
