In surveying literary novels of the past two centuries for other reasons, I can safely say that kids watching older kids fuck in an alley or hayloft used to be called Tuesday, or Martes if we're going to keep this analogy rolling and push it out of the US (which is still no different in more isolated places), and any number of other things were daily gossip. That part of the world never moved past that. Beating children is still common in most of the world, so I'm equating the two as both the motivation and cause for actions and absolutely indefensibly wrong. It's all very similar, especially as abuse and adjacent factors get more abstract.

I was responding to the twitter dogpile post and that conversation for the most part, but it should work for any browns, anywhere that isn't their home turf. They aren't gay (the shotacons are, but less than you would think) but in looking for any cause for the gay, all I really found was a lot of hypersexuality, bisexuality, and pedophilia/hebephilia instead; almost all linked to weird early sexual awakenings.
