Griffen always seemed like one of the more normal and intelligent members of the family, along with Ari and their dad. But then all of a sudden he pops up with this batshit scheme to have mandatory troon re=neducation enacted by congress.

The idea that we can just pass a law to make everyone be kind to each other is the sort of naivety I would expect from Jazz, but I was not expecting Mr. Law School to have a middle schooler's understanding of the political system. As our laws are written, they either "knew or should've known". How much more so for trans butcheries and making your baby brother a eunuch right before your eyes. Cash soothes pangs of conscience I guess.

This is a whole discussion to have, but if you were raised to believe the sun is blue, nothing will convince you otherwise because that's been in your brain as a basic fact of life. It's worse for the trans-lunacy because it's not just the Jennings, but also politicians, including the president, saying "yes, the sun is blue".

The level of self-awareness you need to walk out of it it's very hard to achieve. This aren't people who were born normal and became nazis and committed crimes because they were ordered to it. This is not the same as adults doing these things, they were born into a household with specific set of values and beliefs that are now encouraged and supported by mainstream media an politics. It's a case of abuse in the same way Jazz was,with the exception that they didn't have their genitals chopped and were turned into abusers as well.

They are adults now, so they can be held responsible for the things they did, but they didn't become something, they were born into it. Most people are not prepared in any way to shake this off so easily, and they have no motivation to believe they need to shake it off. Why? If Jazz is healthy and happy now. Look at her in college and thin. Why would they think something about Jazz went "wrong"?
