I've known people who are on testing for various reasons and the level of monitoring tends to drop off after a period of time. Patches don't detect alcohol and Nick has never said anything which suggested they were coming to his home unannounced to do random pee tests (which is a thing here).

Even if we gave April and Nick the benefit of the doubt and believed that they're actually sober now (lol, they're not), then what's left on display is uncontrolled mental illness.

If this is how Nick behaves immediately prior to Kayla and April going to court, then the after show should be entertaining.
