As funny as it was on it's face, and seeing Geraldo sperg out is a personal bonus; that dude is a clown for saying this, at Trump's most publicized rally - A week from election day no less. He could have talked about how Democrats have mismanaged the territory or how the Democrat governor denied water and food aid - hiding it in a warehouse whilst insisting Trump sent nothing because he's a "rAcIsT". Instead he plays into the media's hands so well anyone could be forgiven thinking he sabotaged the event on purpose.

Now, I get where you're coming from but do understand that, the people you hate are of similar opinions. That said,
this guy is absolutely right for more reasons than I feel like typing out this fine evening. The TL;DR is you cannot have a functioning country if your 'country' is two warring sides ready to kill each other locked in a struggle for survival. That ends in horror you do not want. Someone has to de-escalate before we end up in civil, armed conflict.

Free speech is a bridge too far. There are an endless number of things we can get these spiteful mutants on. They've been running wild in this country and breaking laws for so long we've collectively forgotten what normal should look like. We could get a lot more accomplished by just jailing people for littering, breaking labor laws, and obtaining estrogen without an Rx.

This doesn't mean you should abandon ALL your principles, but it does mean you should be extremely careful about letting yourself be taken advantage of and always pay attention to how it might work against you. It won't do for you to refuse to use government power but allow your opponent to do so. If the only way to stop them from destroying your principles is to bend them yourself first then you should consider that might be what it takes.
You should always remember that these people will NEVER give you the benefit of the doubt or treat your fairly. Never forget that.

See I had that idea in the back of my mind, but are people even able to see what party you voted for? The ads keep saying who you vote for is private but whether you vote or not is public which doesn't make much sense to me because if you can view donations you've sent to parties (think Thomas Crooks and ActBlue), wouldn't you be able to see at least what party you voted for?
