Even when he was actually likable, his arrogance was quite visible. I imagine most people who decide to stream must have an element of arrogance to think they're cool enough that people should want to watch them. But he was at least funny so his bumbling-idiot-with-an-ego persona was almost endearing.

But it was obvious even then how poor he was at taking criticism, especially in the discord. And now that his viewership is almost all hatewatching his ego can't take it and he's now doing the stuff that he cast scathing criticism to others for.
