I've never had this problem, but here's how to add your cookies to it:
  1. Get your login cookies from an extension in [ Firefox (in the correct format by default) | Chrome ]
    1. Make sure you download them in the Netscape format and into the same folder as yt-dlp.exe
  2. Add this option to the yt-dlp command: --cookies FILE | Netscape formatted file to read cookies from and dump cookie jar in
The final command should look like this now: .\yt-dlp --cookies cookies.txt --live-from-start --output "%(upload_date>%Y-%m-%d)s - %(title)s.%(ext)s" synthler-video-link

6-step program:
  1. Download yt-dlp.exe from github
  2. Locate it in File Explorer
  3. Right-click in the whitespace and open a terminal there
  4. Enter this into the terminal: .\yt-dlp --live-from-start --output "%(upload_date>%Y-%m-%d)s - %(title)s.%(ext)s" synthler-video-link
  5. Leave the terminal open until the stream is finished
  6. profit

When I tried this while stream was live, it downloaded stream length till moment of starting yt-dlp (for example if started program when stream lasted 1:24:35 it downloads this length of stream, 1:24:35, the rest is not added).

Sorry for the late upload I was away from home for a while. It is absolutely possible to save youtube live streams when they are live using yt-dlp the important part is that you should specify that you want to download the livestream from the beginning with the live from start option in yt-dlp. This entire stream was downloaded while it was live even though I started to download it about an hour after the stream started.

I looked around github and other sites and didn't see this problem anywhere so, I'm not sure what to do. It could've been an issue with that specific stream. Post in a yt-dlp thread [ https://kiwifarms.st/threads/yt-dlp-formerly-youtube-dls.105096/ | https://kiwifarms.st/threads/yt-dlp-appreciation-thread.201238/ ], some other site, or DM me if you want to work on that more since I don't want make this into a third yt-dlp thread. And if you can't figure it out, we still have Mr. TOTAL NIGGER DEATH and others on duty.

my hero, the pilgrim part was hillarious, sadly I didn't have the time to watch the rest of the stream and he warned all of us present that he was gonna nuke the stream shortly after, other users might have archived it full
the game looked interesting, might buy it someday since it looks more forgiving than lethal company, despite the cheap instakills, at least you can see the giant from afar and be able to hide in the cart instead of praying that it doesn't eat you

This video has been processing for 12 hours an it is still at 37% as of writing. RUMBLE YOU FUCKING NIGGER FIX YOUR SHIT AND PROCESS THE FUCKING VIDEO ALREADY IT'S BEEN 12 FUCKING HOURS REEEEEEEEEEEE.

If its because streams are too long, you could try splitting them on parts.
With something like avidemux it can be done in a couple of minutes.

The length wasn't the problem I have uploaded many streams roughly this long or longer, rumble just fucked up on their end. I can always see a progress that shows how far the encoding has come in the video. This time there was no encoding progress bar and the video was perpetually stuck in preprocessing. This has happened before once so I know it's on Rumble's end.

I always tune out when it gets to breakers or w/e and Synth's one buddy had the worst overly loud, peaking, 10 cent mic in the plague doctor caravan game (it wasn't that bad on the other buddy stream but this one was unwatchable).

Apparently I missed all the best drunken rant content and it's time to watch even more Dustborn! Thanks TND you are doing the lords work.

Fakecells, explain yourself: why are you hate Tomás? Synth asked this question many times on stream and people never give a good answer, since he also visit this topic, live your answer here, probably he will see it.
