It's not hard to see Moore souring on capeshit as the demographic grew fatter and more autistic over the decades. No one likes to see their industry get polluted by drooling retards, and especially not when the drooling retards want the same slop over and over and drive said industry's creative integrity into the dirt.
Not to mention that serving these autists exclusively drove away the youth demographic, the latter of which got engaged with anime, manga, vidya, and memes instead. Razorfist never recognized the fact that comics were originally made for kids, to be cheaply sold to kids, to be consumed by kids, and the fact that comics in the West chased away that primary demographic led to their decline, which then led to the suits handing the comics over to purple-haired SJW twats, because the only people still buying these comics were fat autists over 30 or 40 who weren't getting any younger or more numerous.
Razorfist was always a master of bitching about the symptoms instead of the cause. Why are comic companies so ready and willing to give comics to the SJWs? Because they stopped being profitable. Why did they stop being profitable? Because the big two comic companies, and many of the comic companies that were mimicking them, chased away the youth demographic in exchange for an older, shrinking audience that wanted to have kids' characters live out snuff-film style adventures in mature ''graphic novels''. It didn't matter how good they were, if kids weren't buying it, it would eventually fall in profits. They're doomed to suffer the same fate that happened to the Karl Urban Judge Dredd film in 2012; the audience for it wasn't that big, so despite it being a good film, it tanked in theaters.
While kids mainly dealt with comic characters through cartoons, movies, and video games, the actual comics fell behind in sales, so the comic companies had no problems handing them over to some political activists so they can get some good press from the leftist online rags, while their real money was made by toys, movies, cartoons, everything BUT the actual comics. Meanwhile, to Razor's consternation, I'm sure, the kids today can list off events and characters from manga such as Naruto, One Piece, Demon Slayer, and the like. Anime is being consumed by the kids of today, but you can't say the same for capeshit comics, French comics, or anything else Danny-boy likes.
Speaking of Razorfist bitching about the symptoms instead of the cause, damn near everything he complains about is just symptoms of problems that he refuses to acknowledge.
-Why did JRPGs become prominent in the late 90s and early 2000s? Because the CRPGs of those days were too complicated for the average Mario/Sonic gamer to play, but JRPGs were not-they were far simpler and easier to get into and enjoy for the average gamer.
-Why did Kojima's Metal Gear Solid overtake Thief? Because it made use of the PS1 hardware for its cutscenes and had a better, more memorable story and gameplay mechanics.
-Why did anime and manga overtake American capeshit and French comics? Because they still told stories that kids wanted to hear, as opposed to western comics, mainly capeshit, which as I mentioned, chased the adult audience instead of the younger demographics that once gave them windfall profits. Alan Moore noted this problem, calling the adult comic fans who want comics to appeal mainly to adults as ''emotionally subnormal'', and Danny-boy's response to Moore's accurate diagnosis was to bitch at the man.
-Why did WRPGs suddenly go from complex DnD games like Morrowind and KOTOR to casualized games like Mass Effect 2 and Skyrim? Because the ''westernization of gaming'', which Razorfist praised since it heralded the end of the JRPG era, was more focused on casual games like FPS and action games, games like Halo, Call of Duty, God of War, among others. And the WRPG companies like Bethesda and Bioware wanted to get into that audience, with Bioware even openly saying that they wanted CoD's audience. So they casualized their games to invite said audience into their embrace.
-Why did the Millennials and the media world suddenly go super-woke in the mid-2010s? Because western universities, funded by the rich in the West, spread the SJW plague through college education, creating an entire generation of indoctrinated woketards, and most of your media people came from these halls of education. You can even see Anita Sarkeesian's campaign of feminism vs. video games start from her college days, where doubtless she learned feminism from her teachers and applied feminist critiques to video games, and many woke ''game journalists'' came from these schools, wanting to get into proper media outlets like CNN or the New York Times, only to fail and wind up writing for outfits like Kotaku.
-Why do companies keep chasing the woke audience even though it's clearly not turning up profits? Because western financial organs like Blackrock and Vanguard, organs which control trillions of dollars' worth of capital investment, want you to hire woke outlets like Sweet Baby Inc. if you want a fat lump sum of cash from them. Just like with the media and the Millennials, western money and capitalism caused this move towards SJW sensibilities in the corporate world, with companies having quotas of diversity and inclusivity hires and practices being a necessary thing if they wanted investment funds to come in.
We see Razorfist bitch against weebs, the woke, Kojima, casual RPGs and JRPGs, but he refuses to even ask why these things became popular, and why they rose to prominence. He slams his head on the wall, continuously fanning the flames of the culture war, but he doesn't ask why these things came to be, or what drove them to the ends they wound up in. If you were to see the Culture War as an actual war, Razorfist would be one of those guys fanning enthusiasm for fighting that war, but he has no real strategy on how to win it.
Worse still, sometimes Razorfist blames the wrong people for what's going on, like when he said manga and anime were woke because they had gays, or that the CCP is funding the woke virus, despite the fact that gays in anime and manga exist for the satisfaction of a straight audience, and the CCP has openly declared war against the woke both inside and outside of China, blaming the USA for spreading the woke mind virus and making Asia's men effeminate. Not to mention that the media coming from China is far from woke, and the Japanese anime industry has been in bed with the Chinese for well over a decade, and they aren't woke either.
This goes to show that Razorfist is either an ignoramus when it comes to dealing with the things he sees as ''problems'', or he's willfully ignorant or self-deceptive because he doesn't want to accept the truth. If he truly wanted to attack the causes of the things he hated, he'd recognize that the over-complication of games like Daggerfall and other 90s CRPGs drove people away into the arms of the JRPGs like FF7, or how the westernization of gaming led to the casualizing of WRPGs like Mass Effect and Elder Scrolls. He'd note how comics chasing adult audiences over the youth made it easy for anime and manga to influence the latter, or how western capital affecting the universities and the corporate world pushed SJW propaganda and ideology.
Danny-boy doesn't do that, because if Razorfist did accept these things, he'd be betraying his Lolbertarian, DnD-RPG, and niche comic-loving tastes. In other words, he'd be forced to realize that some of the things he loves helped create the things he hates.
