I swear 90% of terrifier 3's budget went into a global astroturfing campaign.

I love this one, because this person seemingly recognizes that the troon looks like a creepy guy, and that parents are going to get scared if that creepy guy follows a young girl into a bathroom. I've yet to meet a vegan that hasn't tried to make me a vegan or mentioned that they were vegan etc in every available conversation.
Most vegetarians I've met on the other hand are generally nice people and won't try and make you only eat vegetables around them, and are also more likely to make non-vegetarian stuff for you if you come round and don't fancy vegetarian stuff (which I return the favour by making vegetarian stuff for them). Vegans always refuse and there isn't a lot of nice vegan dishes around compared to vegetarian.

I really think it's a geographical thing. Like it trends in some places and is appealing to those that cling to causes so they can grandstand.

The vegans and vegetarians that I know who come from the big Metropolitan areas are pretentious as fuck, and fulfill the "how do you know someone is vegan?" stereotypes. But they often have a litany of other causes and traits that they make sure are their entire personality.

But those I've met that come from smaller areas or were raised that way due to cultural reasons tend to not mention it often.

It seems like for some, it's similar to the ex alcoholic or fatty that becomes a gym addict and now mentions to everyone that they lift despite not being fucking asked. They replaced some kind of unhealthy or unhappy behaviour with something they think is noble, and now you MUST hear about it because they're trying to feel better about having a lifetime of shitty choices
