My guess is that they were far more willing to comply than they are letting on, the Twitter files showed there were plenty of employees who were willing to suppress the voices of people they disliked, and were probably giddy that the government was giving them an excuse. The GOP is worthless if they aren't going to set up committees that declassify the communications between the government and these platforms, because the Twitter files made it pretty clear that the government was far more involved than the "private company can do what it wants" faggots let on. I still think there needs to be some accountability there. It doesn't matter how nicely they ask, or that they were merely "suggesting" that a user's speech needs to be suppressed, the feds know damn well that they are exploiting risk assessment policies to circumvent the First Amendment when they pull that shit.

Most honest sources suggest that the election is a 50-50 toss-up. No one really knows what's going to happen until election night.

The reason for this is partially because we are not seeing the typical poll convergence we usually see at the end of a cycle. It’s either (a) pollsters have no idea how to account for current demographics and voter trends or (b) some pollsters are skewing votes while others are more or less fair. It’s probably a combination of both. So much has changed with demographics since 2020 that the old models might not be so valuable.
