Why can’t people acknowledge Trump as the lesser of two evils without acting like he’s going to save humanity? I feel like people have a difficult time finding a middle ground between TDS and Trump worship.

My opinion on Trump and Musk: they're not good guys personally. They're elites. But they at least have the courtesy to sound convincing when pretending to give a shit about the common man.

The same can't be said of globohomo, who are dead-set on keeping their End of History reign going in perpetuity. It's their way or the highway, and you peasants will like it.

Trump angers the people I don't like, and that's good enough for me. Sometimes I don't know if I'm a conservative; I just really fucking hate liberals.

The reason for this is partially because we are not seeing the typical poll convergence we usually see at the end of a cycle. It’s either (a) pollsters have no idea how to account for current demographics and voter trends or (b) some pollsters are skewing votes while others are more or less fair. It’s probably a combination of both. So much has changed with demographics since 2020 that the old models might not be so valuable.

I read somewhere (sauce escapes me) that Republicans are underestimated in polls because they are just less likely to respond to pollsters. They don't wanna be bothered.

Democrats, meanwhile, are a lot more addicted to public participation, or at least being seen as doing their civic duty.

I think a while ago after the democrats had a livestreamer react to a speech, we discussed that politicians playing a a mmorpg game would've been a way to show off their leadership skills. Is that what they attempted here?

AOC started the stream by playing commune simulator Stardew valley where she walked around aimlessly for like 10 mins, then once Walz came in they went to madden for 15 mins , then they ranted about politics for like 30 mins and finished off with 5 mins of crazy taxi.
