-High Early sales due to the name.
-Massive drop off in sales shortly after release due to word of mouth about game being shit.
-The game will sell well enough for Bioware and Reddit to say that the negative buzz around the game was just from incel chuds, but not well enough to be a massive success.
-There will be very little DLC for the game, probably just cosmetic microtransactions and a small quest chain due to lack of legs for sales.
-Bioware once again limps away just barely escaping death due to mediocracy and a slow release month.

No need for any review money hat conspiracy with this game. The demographic that made this dumpster fire is the same demographic that is reviewing it. So long as it was relatively bug free it was always going to review pretty well with mainstream critics. It's a big ol' hivemind circle jerk.

As usual though reviews mean nothing. Not gonna stop this game from bombing. Even if the sales aren't terrible this is a North American AAA studio, the budget is probably insane and they'll need millions of copies to break even that probably wouldn't have happened even if the game was great.
