Idk if that would necessarily be the proverbial straw that breaks the camels back but it would definitely exacerbate the climate we have which is very primed for one. I try to avoid taking much said by Tim Pool's guests as too serious but recently he had WhatIfAltHist on and he raised a good point when discussing this topic - people have seemingly given up on even trying to see the other side as good anymore. I'm not as convinced as he is that it's a guaranteed thing but the reality is the political climate and setting is ripe for it and a civil war would give a lot of people a convenient out from responsibility for their fuckups. On the ground level a lot of people have become cemented in their view that the other side is irredeemably evil and must be stopped at all costs. The first civil war had a lot of very brutal bloodletting and vengeance killing influenced by this type of sentiment, there were a lot of people who had a grudge against someone/s and used the war as a backdrop to exact revenge and vent their anger.

I'm not saying one would or wouldn't happen after an obvious fraud this time, but in the case of civil war especially, people always say "nothing ever happens" till it does.

I can confirm this, JUST this morning I was looking for it on YouTube and couldn't find jack shit, only clips. I ended up watching on rumble and the audio kept desynching, it was a huge pain in the ass. now it's the very first result when you search "Joe Rogan Trump." My guess is that they were far more willing to comply than they are letting on, the Twitter files showed there were plenty of employees who were willing to suppress the voices of people they disliked, and were probably giddy that the government was giving them an excuse. The GOP is worthless if they aren't going to set up committees that declassify the communications between the government and these platforms, because the Twitter files made it pretty clear that the government was far more involved than the "private company can do what it wants" faggots let on.

If there's one thing I could communicate to Trump it would be not to let these big tech scum off the hook with an apology at the 11th hour if he wins. They need to face the kind of consequences that will make future generations of tech businesses dread the mere thought of censoring political speech. The only apology the admin should consider accepting must come with full public disclosure of the suppressive practices applied by a company and any collusion with the government and other businesses. Testifying in trials of Biden admin officials who conspired to violate the First Amendment should be a given.

Otherwise they need to be hit with maximum lawfare. For example, given Google had written policies against the hiring of white men, any white man whose application was rejected or even someone who may have considered working at one of those companies but didn't due to the well-known discrimination should be able to win back pay from Google from the time they could have been hired up to now as well as restitution for reputational damage and as many other damages they can pile on top.
