"Current year" terms that piss you off

What the fuck is "brazy" supposed to mean? Brazenly crazy? It sounds stupid.
It's quite literally more niggerneese. It's street gang lingo.

"From crazy with c replaced by b, a characteristic habit of the Bloods street gang"

Actually what is the deal with all these black people terms being soaked up by everyone and then used ad nauseam? It seems like to have been into overdrive lately. Now everyone is using cooked, drip, gangsta, wildin, rizz, bussin, etc.

E: @ToroidalBoat
You won't imagine my shudder when I read "no human is illegal"

I understand that it's immigration-adjecent but idk for some horrible reason, I could see this being used by pedos and MAPS.

Fucking gross.

It annoys me that "boomer" is still very much in use, and it's often applied incorrectly. Not everyone who corrects you and or rolls their eyes at a shit joke, is a boomer. Boomers, by and large, are morons who like to stroke out on nostalgia, so I resent that, and, on a technical basis, I'm just around Gen-Z (not that I give a toss), as I was born at the back-end of 1996. I think that's how that works.

Maybe not too much of a current-year term, but I despise the word "systemic". It shouldn't exist at all! The Latin word systema is a third-declension neuter noun loaned from Greek; its genitive form is systematis, and so the proper result of appending the suffix "-ic" is "systematic", not "systemic". We see something that's full of drama, and we call it "dramatic"; we don't call it "dramic" because that's not a word!

The fact that "systematic" and "systemic" mean two different things just makes it even worse.
It's the concept that gets to me.
No one is at fault anymore.
We had issues when our last child was born.
I needed IV antibiotics which were not given while I was in labour, resulting in our child being born nearly dead from sepsis.
We were furious at the nurse/midwife who ignored my begging for them over and over, and at the doctor who didn't chart them despite being told why.
We made complaints to the hospital and eventually was told it was 'Systematic Failure' in other words, no one was at fault.
This meant there was no one who felt the need to apologise to us.
No one was punished in any way for nearly killing our child and causing life-long post-sepsis complications.
You can't get anything changed because it was the system that failed.
It's Bullshit.

It was invented by doctors specifically because they needed a word that meant the specific thing they needed to say, and because "systematic" already existed and meant something almost entirely different.

That's what malpractice lawyers are for and can shake lots of money out of fuckups like this. I mean unless you live in bongland or some similar country and the NHS did this. Doing NHS level shit is actually punishable in murrica.

Kiwi land doesn't have malpractice lawyers unfortunately.
The most we could do was lodge an 'official complaint' and the systematic failure bullshit was the result of that.

It's just one of so many stupid euphemisms lately.
Nobody wants to say the ugly truth about anything.

It's like when a Judge lets a criminal out of jail on parole when anyone with eyes can see they're going to just commit more crimes, and then they say 'it was an unforseen outcome' No, Cunt! You just didn't give a fuck about the people who have to live near these scum. If people had to actually match actions to words there would be a lot less hot air and a lot more truth.

Democracy is in danger or something along the lines
More like "wannabe communism is in danger"?

Silence is violence
I think that one is yet another attempt at scamming people into being SJWs: by claiming that not "having a conversation" about SJW BS is "literally violence" somehow.

Seems that to "Zoomers" -- and likely also "Generation Alpha" kids -- "boomer" means anyone or anything older than them.

And why is Clown World fixating on generation? "Boomer" this, "Millennial" that, "Zoomer" this, "Generation Alpha" that?

Generational shit gets recycled after long enough, anyway. That's why I don't join in on the "okay boomer etc." jokes.

Before Current Year, I didn't see or hear people talking about generations -- as in generation labels -- as much as after.

Then in the 2010s, it seemed the generation label focus really started taking off, starting with a "Millennials" fixation.

Dystopian. I'm sure nine times out of ten it's mostly a meme, but some people seem pretty serious when they say it. But it's over shit like needing a phone number to make an account on a website or when one company buys up a few other companies. "Oh my God, that's so dystopian!" Some even claim that the United Stated is practically dystopian, they clearly have no clue what the word means.

Dystopian.
the people saying it are usually saying it because people are allowed to say mean words that hurt their fee fees
dystopian: putting kids on puberty blockers and HRT, sky high crime in NYC

"dystopian": someone being free to question if the jab is really safe and effective, or merely challenging unchecked mass immigration

"Democracy." Every time I hear someone clutching their pearls and shouting to the high heavens about "OUR DEMOCRACY" I just want to roll my eyes.
"Democracy" means a country controlled by jews. Threatening democracy means threatening the jewish control of a country. When democracy is at risk it means that the jews might be ousted from positions of power.

Replace it this way in your mind when you hear it and everything starts making sense.

Retarded 'fembrained' pooners and skinwalking trannies love to imitate that incredibly annoying Tiktokoid way of speaking with the 'HELPP', 'i-'. 'the way I [x]', 'i'm rolling sis', 'it's the [x] for me' all combined with a huge preponderance of emojis (particularly skull emojis, sobbing emojis, etc.) in comparison to the average person and it drives me mad. I hate it in general but as with many other poisonous trends, they tend to be at the forefront.

So elect Trump, the greatest friend Israel has ever had?

Stans. I think it's instead of fans. Who's the fucking ming-mong who started that shit?
I think it's supposed to be 'stalker-fan'. To me, it has always seemed to be in the same vein as that kind of recent homosexual-adjacent slang: 'slay', 'cancelled', 'skinny legend', 'queen', 'messy', 'yass', 'girl', 'wig', 'on fleek'. It seemed to pick up hugely maybe around 2013-2015. Contrasting with the seemingly even more recent homosexual-adjacent 'Zoomerisms' like 'ate', 'periodt', 'it's giving', etc. Though that could just be because of that kind of sphere being referred to as 'Stan [x]' (the biggest being Stan Twitter, I think). Regrettably, I remember using 'cancelled' once, somewhat ironically, amongst much less 'online' people in 2017/2018 and nobody knew what it meant. I can't imagine that being the case anywhere any longer though.
