"Also remember that school is not a place of torture, it is a place of learning."

So we're basically right back where we began on this.
Circle of Life
Edited before my post gets fixed to say Circle of Autism or Spergle of Life

Chris captioned this "Pick your botdy". So unless its some robot joke I didn't get, he apparently didn't give enough of a shit to check what he wrote.

Pretty sure it's supposed to be some sort of dumb robot pun based on character select screens. Because autism.

Am I the only one who thinks that phrase is getting a little old ? Or has it always been a thing around here? Just curious.

No, you are not the only one. It's very, very overused here and was probably one of the reasons why the What If sub topic was removed.

Saddest thing though is that it's not really a false statement. In many situations he has shit himself and done nothing. :briefs:

I think that his incontinence is actually not as pronounced as many imagine it is. He probably doesn't crap himself on a daily basis.

BTW I like Count Olaf from the "Series of Unfortunate Events" books/movie.

Yeah people have stretched it out quite a bit.

(And yes, Count Olaf is awesome)

In these contests pre-made sets like Chris's doesnt really win right? Like a lego highschool built from legos pieces would actually win over a lego "highschool set'

Yeah.
I liked the What if section. However I believe this whole Lego High school deal hammers another fact securely into the ground: the guy hasn't learned a thing from the past, not just life in general, but specifically, concerning contests, creativity, and originality. I have little doubt that he most likely didn't bother to size up his competition. Earlier, another poster claimed that his entry was close to the bottom. Sounds legit.
That being said, this brings back memories of the whole Adam Stackhouse saga, though in honestly, the stakes arent as high this time, especially since a potential sweetheart like Megan isn't involved. What do the winners get anyway?

He added his yiffhawgs and a depiction of himself to it, so in his book it's an all-original creation.

I can't understand how any adult could play with legos. I still have all of my old ones (I don't throw my things away, I'm like Barb I guess *yawn*:snorlax:) and they are so aggravating to attempt to play with.

Well, some adults use them in a rather serious way. LEGO robotics have been used for demonstration and practice in university engineering courses.

Some adults make impressive lego creations, but Chris plays with his legos like he's 10 years old. And that's the crazy/amusing part about it.

That's why I've never been able to get into legos (except for that lego simpsons set I'll never get).

Also, never forget that time my bag of legos broke open and all dem little legos went tumbling down the stairs when I was a kid.

Hmmm, me thinks that that photo was taken in a Toys R Us store, you can kinda see the name hanging on the wall just behind the pixil-thing named Chris.

My guess is that he was out showing off his latest creation.

I'm not seeing anything Toys R Us related in that photo, if you see the other photos, you clearly see that he was on the 2nd floor of somewhere, because of the roof lines.

Still looks nothing like the actual school (which, oddly enough, looks like a Lego model)

hah. Given how much Chris sugar coats his teenage years it's entirely possibly he wouldn't even recognize the building. He probably also wonders why Sonichu isn't in the yearbook. He was TOTALLY there too!

The High School is terribly boring as a contest entry. He is submitting a design that has nothing clever, interesting or specific about it. It's too personal, he has to explain most of his own boring life for any of it to make sense. If he had tried to build his actual high school and included a picture, then at least other people on the LEGO site could appreciate it. Building the school from the Friends set (which is a dollhouse you build, not exactly traditional LEGO bricks) isn't interesting, any kid with that set essentially built the same thing.
