Alright when this comes out I want the full scuttlebutt on if you can be a huge renegade asshole and get everybody killed. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY THIS GAME BECOMES ENJOYABLE.

If its like andromeda and its bland as hell? There's no hope this game makes any money.

Every run I did in ME was renegade. The replies were just too damn good. I tried paragon so many times and never could get more than a few lines in before cringing. I suppose I'm just an asshole. The "Shepard is a Jerk" renegade compilation on YouTube is one of my most watched videos.

So if I could go full asshole renegade based mode, I would probably buy this shit. Let my dude just constantly dead name the troons as the renegade sound plays. Let me start group planning sessions by quoting my pronouns as Fuck/Off while other characters deliver their entire pooner'd backstory. Let me headbutt reporters trying to ask for my opinions on the social situation of the realm while I'm trying to stop the world from being destroyed. Give me side quests to help illegally transport troonshine potions on the Black market only to tap left trigger at the prompt so that I can deliver the wagon straight to the authorities.

All while my eyes grow redder and redder and my skin cracks until I find the magical artifact that undoes all the cosmetic changes of being evil.

Man, Renegade Shepard in ME1 is more brutal & direct than Paragon in the final conversation with Saren.
"You can still break the chains of the reapers!" vs. "You know what's the way to deal with it (alluding to commit suicide)", i prefer the second.

He pulls some similar shit on the Illusive Man at the end of ME3, turning the Illusive Man's arguments about protecting humanity back on him and pointing out how stupid the plan is. Most of the time that's what renegade Shep does, just points out clown world and when that doesn't work he just puts a bullet in the brain. For a hardass military commander meant to do whatever it takes to complete the mission, renegade just makes the most sense. Why should I care about bureaucracy and people's feelings when the entire universe is going to end unless I accomplish this task? Most every option is about maximizing chances of success and even the renegade route for the most of the time still shows Shep caring deeply for and protecting his team collectively.

Even the Mordin decision in 3, the one that hurt me the most probably, you can see how Shep is disgusted with it. It makes me sad I'll probably never get similar renegade options in a game ever again.

Plus, renegade's cheesy one-liners lets me live out my power fantasy of being a ridiculous 80s action hero.
