All of these numbers are improvements for Republicans. And ironically, those saying Republicans are cannabalizing their election day voters, it's the opposite. Literally all the other Politico headlines are talking about Puerto Rico, while the Politico odds ticker for the election still puts Trump at 54% and Harris at 46%.

The Democrats really don't have anything for an October Surprise (which is, ironically, unsurprising given how incompetent the Harris campaign is) and are trying to manufacture one.

I don't think Harris needs Rogan. I think its clear at this point that her doing an interview, any interview, hurts her more than it helps. At this point the democrat gamble is if enough of the electorate is willing to vote to fuck themselves over to stop "fascism", or not. Anything about convincing voters is of second priority to that first one.

Harris kind of needs to remove negative talking points about her, and "too scared to talk to Rogan" is one of them. Is it an important one? Who knows. The irony is that the only person who could remove it is her, by doing the exact thing everyone knows she's bad at: giving long interviews.

Sure, but who is the specific male voter she could pick up? The theoretical segment of "guy who likes Joe Rogan but has not yet made up his mind but would flip to voting Harris based solely on her willingness to do an episode". The risk of her losing more than she gains are very real. If I were on her team, I wouldn't advise her to go. She's doing exactly what she needs to do to limp across the finish line: pretend she ackshually would really love to go on Rogan, but their schedules just never worked out, too bad oh well.

I have reflected on the numerous negative stickers I received on my last post regarding the 19th amendment and have realized that, in my drunken stupor, I failed to adequately explain my position.

Sober summary: Universal suffrage was a gigantic mistake and far fewer citizens should be allowed to vote. If citizens who pass a basic test and are net taxpayers are the voting bloc, women who fall into this category should not be excluded from enfranchisement. Niggers, however, should remain unenfranchised.

Rogan interviewing Kamala would only benefit Trump's campaign. It has been proven time and time again that she screws up interviews with people that are clearly in favor of her and throw nothing but softballs. Even 60 minutes swept it up for her. So a long form casual discussion with someone who- by all accounts- would not give her the same easygoing partial treatment, would make her look terrible. Not that she needs much help with that, but still, the point stands.
