Realistically, how many people registered as a party vote for the other. I understand a few do to vote in the primaries but what's really the point?

I don't even consider myself 'right', I just feel like I have no choice but to vote against the lunacy the left is pushing these days. My only real big right-wing points that matter to me are 1a, 2a, and I think abortion has gotten really out of hand but I'm hesitant to fully ban it because they'll never ban it for rape/incest which would inevitably lead to a ton of rape accusations (I've heard that a lot of abortions are reportedly for 'rape' already because if you say that at check-in they ask less questions so you get in and out a lot quicker)

Not a chance lol. Her weakest point is that she's disingenuous. I don't think she's capable of coming across as a normal person, and I'm fairly generous about her.

I'm more excited for this than trump. Dons fine but he's old, Vance is a killer in interviews but I'm excited to see the more personable and relaxed side of him.

She's certainly been disingenuous. The bigger problem is when you do catch candid footage or audio of her speaking, she reveals her true self: a cackling wine aunt who sounds identical to your stereotypical "vote for Hillary, Trump will kill democracy!" bat.

In 2016 Trump won Michigan and its likely that a majority of the voters were registered Democrat at the time so just because a place is plurality or even majority Democrat doesn't mean people they will vote Democrat especially white working class democrats.

There's no point updating your official party affiliation if you're not voting in primaries, and if you only vote in presidential primaries, we haven't had real ones since 2016. I switched to Dem to vote for Bernie but I'm obviously not voting for Harris so I don't know how accurate it is to directly map party affiliation to vote. If you just looked at newly registered voters, then yeah, sure.

From watching his interviews, Vance does a great job pushing the message that the Dems only care about nonsense that doesn't matter to voters. Did they plan this? Are libs so predictable? They look like such scolds right now.
