Trump fucked up bad, I was working at my dad's auto shop in deep Pennsylvania this weekend helping with some cars, he employs a lot of vatos from Puerto Rico, at the end of the day we went down to a lowrider hopping contest, the kind of place that old school cholos and hot chicas hang out and unwind. One of the chicos was blasting despacito from a boom box when suddenly the feed was met with some interference, it was a CNN news report about Trump's rally at Madison Square Garden, someone yelled "turn it up" and then all the other chicos started listening intently, they were laughing initially at Tony Hinchcliffe's jokes but that quickly changed when he started talking about Puerto Ricans, their laughs quickly turned to disgust, one of the old school cholos spoke up and said "Man fuck that pendejo, I ain't taking disrespect from a skinny ass white boy, I was gonna vote for Trump but now fuck him, I'm voting for Kamala" The other chicos were quiet for a moment then a single vamos was heard, then another, and another and then quickly erupted into a cacophony, All the chicos and chicas started cheering vamos and chanting Kamala's name while shaking their maracas in the air, trump is fucked

Getting so many of the ballots early makes manifesting ballots from thin air at 3am look a lot less believable. "Oh, a third of the state voted early and we already have their ballots ... Shit, we can't tell the American people that there's been a 130% voter turnout now."

Early voting is certainly not a bad thing. Mail in ballots, on the other hand, are the principal excuse for dragged out vote counting. Not only that, but given that Democrats are much more likely to vote mail-in than in-person compared to GOP voters, it gives cause for optimism about a serious collapse in turnout for Harris on election day. Sure, Harris GOTV could be focusing on in person voting for the 5th but how likely is that? VBM is one of the best ways to get a normally unmotivated democrat voter to get their vote in. Going in person to the polling station is a massive pain in the ass and it fundamentally does not make sense that Democrats would turn out for that in disproportionate numbers given that they tend to trust mail in much more than GOP.
