Am I having deja vu or we had this same general atmosphere in October of 2020 where people were super duper sure that is Trump is very popular and will win the election even harder than 2016?

just sayin', this caught you all off guard that time.
Who cares? We're having fun this time.

What am I supposed to do bro, swallow a bullet? Fuck no, I'm gonna be hyped as fuck for my guy, ESPECIALLY when he's ahead

Never forget in the 80-90s it only took two guys who were well armed to fend off the ENTIRE LAPD & SWAT TEAM for nearly a day. Two guys were all it took to bring one of the largest PDs in the country to its knees.
Those cops had literal Barney Miller guns against military trained riflemen.

The latest dump had the strangest configuration yet with Dems getting half the mail, Repubs just under 20 percent and indies at 30 percent. Republicans are now third (26 percent to indies (29 percent) and Dems (45 percent) in Clark mail.
sounds like third parties are eating the dem's lunch even more than last year already

Democrats might have fucked up so hard, we'll finally get a third party alternative. The best part is that it'll be a far-left third party that'll fuck over democrats in their own strongholds!

What's the matter with you? "I'll Be Missing You" is a great walk-on song.
kek, good one

btw, looking at the polls, looks like Trump has a tipping lead in WI, NV, GA, NC, and AZ, while Harris is slightly tipping in MI, PA, and a slight 1% lead nationally (possible Popular Vote margins?), put this on the EV map and he would win, huh

No one over the age of 25 gives a shit about Balestine unless they've been paid to do so by some fatass Qatari sheikh's NGO
Gen X college students were protesting for Palestine back in 2000 during the Second Intifada. They're now in their 40s-50s, and if they're still leftists then you can bet they're still screeching about solidarity.

The leftist revolutionary LARP has not changed in 25 years. You aren't seeing this generation's random odd flavor of the month; you're seeing a generational return to an old alliance that never got dismantled. It's just another prong in the many attacks radical leftists are accustomed to using against the (other side's) establishment. But they don't have perfect control over it, and it's a double-edged sword when their own side is in power.

The real October surprise happened last October. The left wasn't prepared for one of their weapons to activate and lash out at whoever is in power while they were in power themselves. The whole war issue was supposed to be wrapped up before it could hurt their electoral campaigns, ideally to give Biden/Harris a brokered peace they could brag about. But that pesky real world refused to cooperate.

I am Gen Z, just a older one, so i can talk about "the kids" or whatever. It's mixed. We aren't a black and white hive mind man.

Modern US police forces would kick ass against any Chinese infiltrators. That I am certain. Chink vs 6'6 football champ. Yeah I know who's gonna win.
Size doesn’t matter in the gunpowder age.

Establishment Democrats wouldn't do this as it would be something like falling on a sword. They would lose the college student vote forever which is something they need and there is also the fact they treat the" Progressives" of today as their future. Maybe a few individual members could do something at most but the party itself would put itself into too much jeopardy to think of doing such a thing.
It's less about the college student vote and more about how identity politics is a key neoliberal weapon against popular labor type of policies.
