I thought similar things were happening yesterday as well. People being redirected to polling stations that ended up being closed and the like. And yes, you can't expect them to get it done within the minute. But these are things you get emergency injections for within 24 hours, not on the order of weeks.

I'm not going to doomer over Pennsylvania over this. It can easily backfire and pump up enthusiasm for Trump voters and for all I know it is a legitimate order on the part of people telling them to leave. I just want it to be drilled into Republican organizations that you have to fight these battles early and aggressively.

I’ve noticed it’s all in rural areas. These places have municipal offices open like three days a week, and the nearest high court could be hours away.

I still think the solution is to call the police on these ‘emergency services’ guys. These are paid clowns who aren’t going to be willing to go to jail for impersonating a police officer. Even if they’re compliant with the law, it just takes one good cop to make their day terrible.

Congress is sworn in session, sort of like court. So you "can" be jailed for lying, just like you can be jailed for not showing up to a congressional suspenis.

I think that is the reasoning at least, but I could very well be wrong.

There are rumors that JD Vance will be on Joe Rogan podcast on Wednesday.

It's smart for him to go on if he can get a spot. First he's a natural for this kind of thing and a three hour conversation with him would just be interesting to listen to even without getting into any politics. Second, it also eats up a potential time slot that Kamala might try to use after finally decide that she needs to make an appearance even if she knows she'll flop.

The effect will be negligible. RFK Jr. himself has endorsed Trump, any legitimate supporter of his in Michigan or Wisconsin should know what to do.

It would be stupid for them to try to do anything now after early voting has already started and some people were allowed to vote for him on their ballots. It's also the type of concession they might back if they wanted to make a ruling that favors Trump later without appearing to be blatantly biased towards him on all of their decisions.

DC is fucking shithole and has one of the highest crime rates in the country. I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone got robbed, raped, murdered, or all three in the near vicinity of the rally.
