The difference is that the polls never said we had an advantage, neither in 2016 nor 2020. Sure we aren't supposed to trust polls, but there's no reason for them to skew it in trump's favor, no republican will feel comfortable in skipping voting when trump has such miniscule leads

In the distant past, tariffs actually were used for the lion's share of governmental revenue before income tax, as expenditures were likewise low. In many third world countries today even, they make up a substantial portion of revenue when the population is so poor and the governmental infrastructure is so bad it makes regular taxation quite ineffective. In the modern day, tariffs in most non-third world countries, even when used in a protectionist sense, are used for influencing terms of trade and political trading than actual revenue.
The main argument against replacing regular income taxes with tariffs is that modern government expenditures, even under a greatly reduced budget, would not be feasible to finance, and two, that attempting to maximize revenue from tariffs themselves is self defeating. Ideally, you want tariffs to encourage domestic consumption and self-sufficiency, so you put them on goods which your domestic economy competes less well in, and less on goods you are already highly competitive in. This means that maximizing revenue would come from placing them on goods that actually get imported because your local industry can't compete, but this either leads to the outcome where your economy actually improves its terms of trade (or you do some political trading during a trade war as Trump did in his first term) in which case the tariff starts generating no revenue from being superfluous, or it continues to generate revenue, but at the expense of higher prices for said goods which can create knock on effects down the supply chain in terms of price (which rather offsets the purpose of generating revenue here in place of taxation).
Personally, I do like that Trump is willing to use tariffs actively to renegotiate trade and protect domestic industry, but I find the revenue generation argument to be extremely weak.

I've brought this up before, but watching how the lefty foot troop goons take a winning strategy in the culture war, fail to understand any of the nuance or strategy involved, and just hammer it as an "i-win" button long after it's useful or sane, gives me a snarky kind of hope for election night.
For an example of this, take a very simple lefty tactic: "NAZI!" Call everyone, absolutely everyone, who might possibly disagree with you Nazi. Only they did it so often that it stopped being anything other than white noise, so they had to switch to "FASCIST" to regain some of the energy. And now even that's kinda fallen away. Because the idiots on twitter don't understand the greater details of ostracization and deplatforming, they just know "We scream bad word at bad man, bad man taken away and we get candy, yay!"
So I ask this: While I believe the actual incidents of voter printer go brrrr were low in 2020, there were clearly some incidents of fuckery going around -- voter mules, ballot harvesting, and yes, ballot printing. Are we going to enjoy the glorious Tuesday night spectacle of some dumb black woman running a polling station try and explain that yes it makes perfect sense her station went from 51%/49% Trump/Kamala to 80/20 Kamala/Trump in a single dump and the voter turnout is now 2500% in her district, and if you dare question her datz waycis!!!1!1!one, so don't you dare do it, fascist nazi colonizer! [insert finger snap here].
The ultimate win next week isn't "Trump wins, gains majorities in both house and senate, to the point the RINOs can't fuck with him."
No, the ultimate win next week would be "Trump wins, gains majorities in both house and senate, to the point the Uniparty can't slow him down... and there's such obvious fuckery attempted (badly) that he gains an immediate national mandate for post-BushVGore Florida election reform, tearing the Blue Machine out by the goddamned roots."

I see him neck and neck, which is similar to how some polls reported him in 2020. I'd assume he is 10 points and get your entire family out to vote if you want him to win.
Granted, his team's ground game better be willing to actually contest the ground this time, reports are already coming in on all sides of early ballots either being targeted or escorted.

Chinks can’t possibly be any worse because police are about as bad at shooting as you can get. Literally a kid taking Handguns 101 at a reasonably competent school will shoot better. So if they are equal, it all comes down to numbers, firepower, and armour. If you want to get into the details we can add in other factors but that’s the basics, and Americans being bigger has nothing to do with it (in fact can become a liability if nutritional deficit occurs).
This isn’t a difference in magnitude like men vs. women. This difference is literally two inches in height.
