Careercow Donald J Trump - 45th/47th President of the USA, convicted felon, Epstein bro, Putin simp, serial liar, sore loser, cheat and the Chris-Chan of Presidents. THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL DEBATE THREAD.

Apparently Trump is trying to act like he never knew Kill Tony or who even booked him despite the fact his campaign vetted his material and is the opening act for his biggest rally ever.

Not to mention all the blatant pandering he's doing for Puerto Rico acting like he's their best friend without even renouncing the joke at all beyond "I don't know that guy"
Same tactic he always pulls. Don't say sorry, push the guy under the bus and hope everything blows over.

Honestly, the set was pretty tame if you compare it to an average "Kill Tony" set. What I cannot comprehend is why the Trump campaign would invite someone who makes racist jokes on the regular, to speak at a rally that the media constantly calls a "Nazi Rally". I also don't know why Tony would make a cum joke, when the average audience member is 60 years old. Overall, this was a massive disaster for Trump, and I feel bad for the underpaid employee working overtime to try and fix this massive fuckup.

Yeah like this routine is fine in a comedy club, and would not be a big deal there or if it was a random Trump rally.

The bigger deal is the fact that this guy's material was vetted and no one in the campaign had the political instincts to really check it, though out of all the things said at that rally, that is not even the most deranged thing said.

It's like anything. If you chase away the competent people, any endeavor is doomed. It's not just political campaigns. I am certain the majority of people reading this have worked at a place were a critical mass of good people were driven away, turning the location into a shitshow.

Whole major companies have collapsed because someone like Trump was put in charge. I am still amazed that GE barely survived Jack Welsh as CEO.

Anyone mentioned Trump's Egypt-routed burner phone yet? Apparently, Trump used that phone to pressure the speaker of the house in Michigan to find the votes.

Why is this important? Because Trump was using an insecure device while being president. Because the Egyptian government gave Trump 10 million dollars. Because Trump's lawyers claimed that any act while president is an official act by the president and Trump can pressure other officials to do his bidding, but using personal devices like a fucking burner phone doesn't count as being in an official capacity as the president. Nevermind that the phone was automatically detected as "spam call egypt".

I'm a firm believer that when it comes to comedy theres no such thingy as punching town.

But I'm also a firm believer of time and places and holy shit you don't make racially charged jokes at a political convention.

I saw somebody make a good point. Despite the whining of the left about right wing "extremism", Trump has actually dragged the Republican party to the left. He's a psy op designed to further the leftist agenda. I mean he's arguably left of Clinton. He also actively goes against real right wing candidates such as Desantis and Cruz. Idk, I felt woken up by this and I don't really have anywhere else to share it.

He's not, but whatever gets your kind to dump his ass I guess.

I don't agree, but...

I'm a crusty old libertarian of the type that sees left and right as meaningless distinctions. I've arrived at the point where I only care about whether someone believes in individual rights or not. Harris isn't great in that respect, but Trump is a nightmare. He never actually says anything about liberty, aside from using scare tactics about the libs taking away guns and being commies. Beyond that, he doesn't even pretend to be pro-freedom and it's infuriating to me to see supposedly libertarian-leaning people drink the Trump kool aid. The funny thing is a lot of the most ardent 2A types supported Desantis and will be the first to tell you that Trump didn't do shit for gun rights. Trump's a fucking rich kid from New York City, he only pretends to care about gun rights because he wants the gun owners on his side. For reasons.

Likewise it's funny to me to hear people claim that Harris is a commie, considering that almost all actual, self-proclaimed Marxists hate her and think she's too moderate.

Left, right, whatever. Trump's an authoritarian, period.

The way I see it there's 3 possibilities concerning his bizarre and grotesque appereance. I don't know which is accurate:

1. He's so delusional he thinks his fake hair and tan look real and good.
2. He knows his hair and tan look fake but he still thinks it looks good.
3. He knows he looks fake, ridiculous, and gross but does it as some kind of autistic lolcow attention bait (similarly like how I think Boogie2988 intentionally found the youngest GF legally possible to farm a million "haha is that your daughter?" comments on his shitty videos).

He never actually says anything about liberty,
I don't know a lot about that conservative/libertarian Tea Party movement from years ago, but it was strange watching it get sheepherded and become subsumed by Trumpism, as Trump made unrealistic campaign claims like "I'll eliminate all the U.S. debt in 8 years" (he made it bigger, under the excuse of "priming the pump" and then basically signing every pork-barrel omnibus bill that crossed his desk). He may be an oblivious carnival barker but I guess Roger Stone and Steve Bannon knew what they were doing as campaign managers.

This also reminds me of when Trump hung of picture of Andrew Jackson in the oval office (or arranged it front and center for a photo op or something), and QanonTard Trump Cultists said it was a super secret signal Trump was going to "Kill the Bank" as Jackson had done to the 2nd central bank.

Trump made the argument that Kamala was a Marxist because she mentioned considering implementing price control freezes, something NOTORIOUS RADICAL COMMUNIST Richard Nixon did. If Kamala is a Marxist, maybe I missed it because haven't heard him make an intelligent argument for it. (Disclaimer: I don't support Kamala).

Why is that old bastard speaking with such a whiny voice?
The people who make a big showing of telling it like it is! tend to be the whiniest, thinnest-skinned faggots around.

Trump will instantly ditch someone the moment they become inconvenient and his fanbase will follow suit. Tony Hinchcliffe is just a crisis actor and a secret Demonkkkrap agent, he was never MAGA.

So if we take Trump’s statement to be true then it means he lets random ass people on stage speak without any vetting whatsoever. So does that mean any of us can just stumble onto the stage and just say whatever?

Trump is a bitch ass nigga and a coward.

This is something I keep banging the drum on. He has nobody competent who works for him or wants to work for him. Anyone smart has to think beyond 2024 if he loses or 2028 if he wins. Trump exhibits no loyalty as we see here. So what actually is the upside to working for this fat faggot? Just fellow lardasses like Steven Cheung with a Slaton forehead and other incompetent fuckwits who hope they’ll be spared the firing range when it’s their turn to be scapegoated. Who actually wants to hire these clowns when Trump eventually throws them under the bus? Working for the Trump campaign would be a lot like working for NAMBLA, probably even worse. It’s probably better just to leave that time working for Trump off your resume.

And the "press" in question appears to just be a bunch of his followers filming with their phones?

God help me, there's a part of this that kind of appeals to me. If you had told me ten years ago that there was going to be a presidential candidate who told the mainstream media to go fuck themselves and rallied the populace without any help from the establishment, I would have been so excited about the prospect.
And I'd be right there with those people if the guy who did it wasn't a complete piece of shit grifter who doesn't believe in anything he says.

The worst part of this is that there are lots of people in America who have legitimate gripes and aren't being listened to and it would have been great to have a real populist candidate address those concerns. But Trump's too fucking lazy to do that, so he just appeals to people's fear and hatred.

He's not trying to appeal to anyone at this point. There may be a few people left who Kamala could possibly win over, but there's no one who is unsure about Trump who is going to suddenly come around to his way of thinking.
At this point he's just trying to keep his followers as angry as possible so they'll go out and do dumb shit when he loses.
I wouldn't be so sure about that. I was pro Kamala early on and pro troon, but I woke up to the reality of the situation and realized that whoever's more likely to put an end to this nonsense is the person most deserving of my vote. That being said, I've seen Kamala backing down from her position on trannies, but I don't think I could bring myself to vote for a Pajeet at this point.

She's still way better than a senile, obese conman

The worst thing about Welsh is that other companies saw the shitshow he and his "rank and yank" strategy was and still hired people that would implement the same shit.
