I'm confident enough that I bought a 60 year old scotch for the occasion. My bet is on an election call by 5-6AM Wednesday.
Was it that big a circlejerk though? There was a lot of coping and straw grasping even before the 4AM ballot dumps with a few right-wing pundits and commentators also warning ahead of time to expect trouble. A lot of the issues plaguing 2020 aren't present this time or not present to the same degree which IMO affords a stronger measure of confidence. Still shouldn't get complacent, but there's a reason to feel optimistic this time.

I just assume worst case scenario and go from there: I didn't relax in 2016 until Trump gave his victory speech. If Trump really is set to win in a landslide, great! Then keep racking up the score and make it higher and higher. But if the Democrats begin to fully rig it better they are cut off on the ground then let through in doomed legal battles.
Though... if the Democrats do rig it and Trump was stupid enough to not stop them this time, you all should still vote, the more blatant the rigging is, the worse their legitimacy will be when they push onto the next term.
Edit: I'll grant you this, tech breaking for him is a big deal, and while I can see a Faustian bargain come out of it longer term, that sort of fracture is what makes me think Trump might actually contest things this time.

In 2020 the fix was in the moment they stole the ballots I think this time the steal will not be as well done. I expect some shenanigans but my hope is that if early voting totals show what they show then he wins by a big margin. Which I hope is the case to be honest.
Let's be honest in 2020 we did get all too convenient late night shenanigans in the voting process. Mail-in voting and votes being counted up to a week without validation is bullshit and corrupt as fuck.
But the gop needs to be prepared for the fact that sems cheat and it isn't some bs fantasy anymore.
Maybe it is hopium but I think they won't be able to get away with cheating like they could last time as telegram and Twitter (I won't call it X) are under the control of a third party or rival castle so to speak.
I think the powers that be will let Trump win the election but certain people will still try to jfk him.
Hey maybe but I'm hopeful the times change. I hope we win big enough that it shuts down the progressives and I hope when we win we destroy the progressive ideology.
If she wins especially by election fortification then red states have the incentive to secede. If Trump wins blue cities revolt it's a catch 22.

They are prepping to set some legal groundwork to not certify the election, which is both evidence that again Trump has a real chance this year and something the conservatives who just want to vote and have things go back to normal (tm) are not at all prepared for. I maintain the belief that the plan was to replace all her previous fuck ups with her DC speech in everyone's memories. She was clearly framed photogenically, beyond even what she normally is. They're claiming 75k in person attendees, only 55% were confirmed to be paid actors. They had it right in front of the white house, framed behind her.
This was the manipulation kill shot. They had set up everything to seize on a gaff they could blame on Trump, to set the narrative for the next week: Trump attacked those poor saintly brown people, AGAIN. Can you really trust someone in the White House who doesn't worship at the feet of non-whites? He wants to make AMERICA great again. Doesn't he know that America was NEVER great? That the best our people and our culture and our civilization can aspire to is to be a life support for saintly non-whites who, despite every opportunity including the finest crafted beneficial racism in Western history, can't seem to compete with even a mildly retarded White European? He's even let out the N word some times -- Nationalism.
At the same time, they have President Kamala, in front of the white house, giving a "President Speech." It was an easier audience, with a shitload of bussed in paid actors -- again, this was confirmed -- to give her the biggest amount of support possible. Even the viewers who weren't paid actors were supportive swamp creatures.
People were commenting earlier that her problem is it's generic looking. No Branding. Of course it's generic. That's what you do when you're targeting a manipulation tactic. They don't want you thinking "Kamala" they want you thinking "Generic Hollywood President Product." You probably have a better opinion of "Generic Democrat" than Kamala. That's the trick.
This could be literally any Hollywood movie set. That's intentional.
The content of the speech? I haven't watched it, but a dozen pages back, people were screaming that THIS was the speech they wanted to hear from her 6 months ago. Again, that's INTENTIONAL. Yes, she's a fucking retard. But she's a retarded lawyer and politician. Both spew bullshit for a living. Even if she got her start sucking black dick for money -- and she absolutely got her start sucking black dick for money -- she still learned how to use her mouth! She could have given this speech 6 months ago but if she had, Trump would have reacted to it, countered it, and she would have been shit out of luck. 6 days left in the campaign? With a media that is intentionally not talking about ANYTHING except how Trump shot some brown scientist doctor saint on stage at a Klan rally in New York before fucking the bullet wounds while screaming "OOOOH, I WISH THIS WAS PUTIN'S SUPPLE ASS?"
That was the trick. This was the October surprise: Surprise, she's a retard, but 2020 we fucked Trump over by manipulating the media into not talking about Hunter and this time we'll manipulate it by making President Female (as played by Kamala Harris) Hollywood's perfect slutty idiot and making President Hitler (as played by Donald Trump, via gunpoint if they have to) into satan himself.
The only complication is that early voting was getting all those Conservatives that maaaaybe they could talk out of voting for Trump -- or if not that, then talk into staying home -- out to the polls before they could be manipulated. Plus the right seemed to have learned from 2020 and 2022 and are out voting long before the October Surprise could land, long before they could have an water main accident or a smoke bomb or what have you keep them away from the polls on election night. (Remember, it wasn't millions of Votes Biden won by, it was a few thousand in the right districts.)
But they had a plan B, hastily put together -- get some friendly not-cops to show up and fuck with the polls, while DSA/DNC operatives move in massive numbers of saintly brown people, some of who are either illegals (there's talk about them being denied and saying "ok I'll come back with a different name, 1 second" and the like) or identity thieves, in order to literally shove the evil white conservatives out of the way and force them to get pissed and go home, so they could show pictures of legions of saintly brown people voting with Kamala stickers on (illegal, but who's gonna stop them, you?) to their base, so they don't give up or stay home themselves.
It was a perfect political engineering op, executed near flawlessly. If X was still controlled by them, we would have never even HEARD of it.
And Biden came out and in 15 seconds on a zoom call completely fucked it up. (On a zoom call I'd bet dollars to doughnuts his tard wranglers weren't a few feet away from him during, ready to cut him off if he went off script, too. Probably one of a very few moments in his life he doesn't have a DNC operative all but holding him at gunpoint to ensure he doesn't do anything.)
