I've been subscribed to his channel for years and maybe watched 2-3 videos the last couple of years. His best content was pop culture reviews and the odd retrospective (not a music guy so I can't tell about his music history videos). But for the last years he just put political slop and zero effort gameplay streams. The former wouldn't have been as bad if he wasn't so horrifically bad at reading the political landscape.

Not really that unique when it comes to content; lots of political Youtubers do that. They echo popular political sentiments that others have made all the time.

But the streams show everyone how Danny-boy's gamer instincts work, and the more we see, the more I'm convinced this man is about as much a gamer as those boomers who try and pretend to be gamers.

There was his playthrough of Daggerfall which made him look stupid, and then there's also this.

Your average FPS player knows to keep moving while shooting out of cover to avoid enemy fire, and they'd know that power weapons like the shotgun are limited in ammo for balancing issues.

The Religious Right hated D&D players and called them and their game Satanic. The game was basically one of the biggest targets during the Satanic Panic of the 80s. Also, Jehovah's Witnesses are not considered Christian by the average American. They occupy the same space as the Mormons; with most of the Christian community saying that they're not a part of it.

Going back to Razorfist, again, his gaming skills aren't as bad as Game Journalist Cuphead level, but they're still freaking bad. As if getting lost in Halo Reach wasn't bad enough. At least his political takes, you can just say he's ripping off others for it, but with his gaming skills, that reflects on him badly as a gamer, especially when a good chunk of his content are game reviews. Now, every time he complains about a game being too hard or clunky, one might think it's a skill issue with him rather than the game.

Considering the recent release of Dragon Age Veilguard I'm just reminded of him giving Inquisition a positive review despite that game being about as pozzed by 2014 standards as Veilguard is today. And it's not like the gameplay salvaged it either.
