My main question about Nick is why he's dead-set on not taking an appeal.
By "appeal" I think you meant plea deal.

In my opinion, Nick has suffered massive cognitive decline over the last couple years likely due to drinking, heavy cocaine use and intentional malnutrition. He rarely has the ability to think rationally anymore. His reasoning about his case, the law and the situation he is in....is batshit crazy. And NOBODY is going to tell him otherwise.

He has thought since shortly after he was arrested that he could beat the charges. He is full of nonsense theories about the law and it doesn't seem as if his attorney is willing to challenge those legal theories or presumably Nick's legal strategy for the case.

Nick is also somewhat delusional about the basic facts of his situation. He has often talked of himself as the victim of a conspiracy and accused just about everyone involved in the case of lying. In particular police officers and people at child protective services.

The other thing that seems to be driving Nick is the idea that he can gaslight away all the facts of the situation if he can just beat the case. That if he wins the case, he can confidently deny that he was ever a swinger, that he ever used drugs, that he was ever addicted to drugs (or alcohol), and that he ever neglected his children.

Lying for Nick is like breathing. And like a small child, he thinks he can get away with any lie if he just repeats it enough.

If he is eventually cornered with no options left, odds are good that he will take a plea deal. Something similar already happened with Child Protective Services. He was fighting them at every single point for a long while, but more recently he seems to have surrendered and is doing the things they require of him.

Nope mdma if used at normal dosages and not too often does not cause any type of hangover and can have the opposite effect.
Speed used at normal dosages and not too often does not cause permanent health damage, either. Know many party drug users who stay at "normal dosages"?
And yes mdma is closely related to meth but they have completely different effects and act completely differently in the body.
It's not like thalidomide where a friggin' enantiometer has radically different effects; mdma is a weakly-psychodelic meth, and meth too fucks with serotonin just not in the same way mdma does and believe it or not is less neurotoxic. They're both emphatogenic stimulants.
Meth is used in medicine too, but at dosages of ~1mg a day, not smoking a gram in one sitting.

The cognitive decline is startlingly obvious now. The tweets come across as typical, petulant Nick, if somewhat repetitive, but when you see him in the stream his thinking, his speech, and his movement are all significantly affected. You genuinely have to wonder whether he's aware that he comes across as someone who's suffered some kind of brain injury and if that's not part of the reason he's so reluctant to stream.

Speed is amphetamine not methamphetamine and most people who do mdma don't over do it because more doesn't equal better and mdma doesn't cause compulsive redosing or delusions of sobriety.

Yes it is it's completely different.

Dumb, if you believe mdma is more neurotoxic than meth your retarded.

When I talk about normal dosage I'm talking about recreational dosage not 1mg a day prescriptions, compare the effects of recreational meth use vs recreational mdma use.

Legal Mindset revealed on stream that Nick never split the money he promised and Nick promised a fuck ton of people money.
Rekieta is calling BS on some recent lawtubers’ claims that he promised them a cut of the stream money and never delivered.

Secondly, @AltisticRight is right. He's doing the whole "you were paid in exposure" crap.
Remember when Ethan Ralph said he'll share the revenue from his streams with Zidan and Gator?
And, he did not?
:really:

Nick is acting like a horny teenager and it's "Embarrassing" to watch. A teenager you can forgive because they don't know any better, they're driven by a flood of hormones that they're unused to and end up doing stupid shit because of it, but Nick is a forty something year old man with Teenage Children of his own, he's just a creepy old man at this point (much like Lester from American Beauty). If Nick wasn't throwing around money and coke then these "friends" and "favourites" of his wouldn't give him the time of day and would quickly evaporate, they certainly wouldn't be discussing anime with him in a fucking Nightclub of all places.

TLDR: Nick is a Nerd and fucking Loser who doesn't realize that people are only pretending that he's the "coolest dude in school" because he's paying them to (in one form or another).

Your "career" as a lawyer is pathetic. Your legal analysis—as per Vic's case—inexplicably, is even poorer. You would never have found success as an independent commentator because you cannot provide legal commentary.

TBF, I'm not so sure competence as a lawyer matters that much in terms of success as an "independent commentator," certainly on YouTube. I've been doing some confusing estate and trust tax returns lately and much to my surprise I can generally get an answer from a YouTube talking head lawyer, to at least point me where I need to go inside our shitty RIA software. But it is always an old white guy looking like he desperately wants a cup of coffee sitting at his desk speaking into a $5 Wal-Mart microphone. And it is always result 738 or something. With the only self promotion being a mention of his firm at the end.

Even if Nick wasn't drug fucked, his situation as a rural, non-practising law streamer would create a dangerous disconnect from the realities of the legal system.

Other lawtubers have day jobs and colleagues that help keep them grounded. The most dramatic and entertaining approach is usually not what is in the best interest of their client.

Nick was a vouyer for a living, and viewed legal consequences as something that only happened to other people.

Drug sperging

This argument is pointless, because there is no way Nick is buying pure MDMA. It's going to be cut with stimulants.

As Sean has said, it's a miracle that none of them accidentally OD'd on an adulterant.

You don't need a studio to Zoom. Most people use a laptop or their phone. She could have done that from her bedroom wherever she's sleeping.

Hmm, but April has been in front of the studio camera enough to know that she looks much better that way. The wide lens, the warm ring light, the camera at a proper height and angle. Maybe even a subtle filter.

Everyone looks terrible with a phone or laptop camera looking up their nose.

So I buy that she preferred, nay, insisted on it. But what happened to “I hardly ever see her” and all that? For whose benefit was that? She’s clearly still living in your spare house bro!

This is just yet another “tee hee” hint drop self exposure for the right people to pick up on. The court surely won’t notice, or care, but he knows his haydurs will notice and be outraged.

Watching the Legal Mindset/Sean stream.
Legal Mindset might as well be the new Rekieta with how he tries to mix degeneracy and comedy, and have people ease into it through that.
Him wanting Sean to look at some sort of femboi wolf creature. WTF...
At least just stand by it proudly. Instead of this whole coy "it's just memes, haha" thing.
Everyone knows what's up and what sort of audience you're looking to cultivate. You're not clever.

Whatever he does, I hope he keeps kids out of it. Because Nick didn't. I think he's in a better position as an unmarried man with no kids.
