Where is DSP?

Kinda-sorta.

With Chris, it's a mix of him only being able to conceptualize things relative to himself rather than others so if it's not a big deal to him, then as far as he's concerned a simple sorry would suffice to pave things over, and also him simply wanting people to drop matters he doesn't want to linger on. These two aspects are not mutually exclusive and in fact usually are hand in hand.

Phil straight up just doesn't give a fuck about anybody past the point they're handing him money.

For context this was the day after the mysterywoman/dutch escort story broke down and it was revealed the photos were from some random woman in Tennessee who had nothing to do with DSP and before the catfishers were exposed.

While I have no proof I have a gut feeling that he made Kat pay her own way out there. Money spent on a plane ticket is money not going to Hogans and while Phil will tolerate a lot of things he will not tolerate someone getting in the way of Hogan pulls.

You have to remember the context of Phil's life around this time:

1. Post-Leanna Phil was desperate to prove he wasn't an immature manbaby who couldn't keep a hot young woman interested in him. I think this overrode what we'd call the standard DSP Flowchart of Needs. Kat was living with Subaru Man, and he was probably paying for her shit there the way Phil does now. I don't see how even Phil could make a gold digger pay for her own flight in this situation, unless Subaru Man was abusive or cutting the purse strings on Khey. I assume he whaled on her until he had her in the Snort Fort, and when she was finally Mrs. Burnell, the arrangement changed.

2. This is also Pre-Bankruptcy Phil, an idea he wouldn't act on until 2020, so he in all likelihood was putting everything on credit.

I'd counter that with Phil being one of the dumbest people to ever exist on this planet. He can't even set up steam without being handheld by the dents, so I have no faith he was able to go to a site like Orbitz and set up a round trip ticket from Detroit to Seattle for Kat without absolutely fucking everything up in the process.

I specutard it can be both on his dime and hers, he obviously saves some money for expenses such as transport and asking her just to pay for the ticket and he picks her up from the Airport

Phil wants to desperately play adult to play façades and I think this was a ploy to get her in Renton, he obviously tries to negotiate on travel

Plus specutarding I think he has had the secks with Kat well before she gained weight, there's a lot that goes on he doesn't obviously tell even if he acts like a child, that behavior he shows was growing inside him and perhaps an outcry from Kat not to look at other girls means IRL and online

Beauty for Phil means absolutely not looking or even glance
