Someone on /v/ leaked the Dragon Age Veilguard review guidelines by influencer Matthew Schroeder, trademark of MrMattyPlays.

MrMattyPlays: Misinformation like this is damaging to the gaming community. This post is unbelievably false and is not the NDA I signed with EA. Not even remotely close. The creator of this post even stated they are inclined to believe it is untrue. This is the last time I will be speaking about this moving forward.
And there ya have it.

The obvious fake "Dragon Age: The Veilguard Review Guidelines" with MrMattyPlays name on it is indeed a fake. Duhhhh.

It was 4chain bait & Mark Grummz Kern took it. Someone should ask him about his "game" Em-8er & the lies he said to SidAlpha about it!

Asmongold has a vid here.

A reminder that this was from Andromeda. Bioware have been on a downward trajectory for years.

"No, my loyal companions, I'm the Grey Warden and it's my duty to sacrifice myself to end this hellish nightmare once and for all. And for the last time, Morrigan, no, I don't see how making an unholy demon baby is a good solution to this particular problem. Goodbye my friends, and Alistair."
Thus the Warden struck the Archdemon, and while both dissolved into legend, an unknown power granted a last gift upon the dying hero: a vision of the future he had sacrificed everything to protect:

Superstitious folk swear that, on the gloomiest of nights, if you pay attention to the rustling of the leaves around Fort Drakon you can still hear the lasts words of the Warden:
"Oh, Fuck".

A guide to the ending is now available. I see people on Twitter grousing that you have to save certain companions to get the best ending, but to me the real eyebrow-raiser is that this is literally the Mass Effect 2 suicide mission with the numbers filed off.

Oh, you have to sacrifice either the cute dwarf waifu or the negro warden.
I wonder which one most people will pick.

Ofc no option to kill off Traash, that would be problematic, and everyone would do it in a heartbeat.

If Weeky was following the proud footsteps of every non-binary wild-colored mutant out there, his wife is perfectly happy to let him write Qunari porn while she gets railed by her bull of the month.
They made a character called the iron bull for a goddamn reason

Also the qunari becoming discount tieflings is incredibly stupid. Their whole background was mysterious as a plot point all the way up to inquisition. the out of game stuff focused a lot on special dragons blood and its importance in origins for the reavers and fereldan royalty, and it is implied to be related to qunari origins as a slave race for the elves at their height. It even ties into one of the elf mage-gods being a mad biological scientist type.

Of course they ditched this to make purple daemonkin fetish art and a really hamfisted trans analogy. Karlach was a well written character first and her species second.

What a goddamn waste of a world. Hopefully ea shuts bioware down and licenses the IP to a better developer. Can't be more expensive than this debacle.

The Warden; if alive; went to unknown lands to cure the Calling and the rapid aging.
Basically, he had these types of dreams.
And probably this one was gave by a old god to never return to Ferelden, lol.

Then why didn't they make whatever faggot self-insert standalone game, instead of calling it a Dragon Age game?

Isn't it obvious? Branding.

People have heard of Dragon Age, and they're trading off of the name. Nobody wants to take a risk on a brand new property which doesn't have a built in audience and a reliable track record.

Many such cases. Sad.

And Isabella is literally the worst character you could have used for a lecture about respecting your crew and holding yourself accountable.
Remind you in DA2 she basically done a bad bussiness with a Telvinter mage and taken her ship with all the crew.
And now she's talking about respecting your crew? Lmao. That's not Isabella.

wardens have a life expectancy of like 1 week and a half so Negrolas should offer himself in a silver platter, but I guess the devs don't know nor care of that detail
“World Star!!!! Ahw Sheeeeeett-!!” - Nigger elf plunging into lava after a failed drive-by joust to a dragon.
wardens have a life expectancy of like 1 week
Imagine the black warden on black warden homicide rate. “Ah hell, nigga. You didn’t finish your lean? *pulls sword sideways.*”

This game was almost certainly a mobile/casual ip they/EA hastily pushed to being a mainline dragon age game after failing to ship for 5+ years.

Why else would a Sims game director be hired to run this? They would have had in house directors with experience much more suited to a pc/console game but bioware has zero mobile or casual experience.

Why did the main writers of the dragon age series leave years before this iteration had any development or testing? Why did it get an abrupt name change a year or two ago? Why is the art style and tone directed at mobile and casual audiences?

If game journalists did their jobs we would have inside info on the clusterfuck that has been dragon age and Bioware development in the last few years. The only info I found was related to Joplin or whatever it was called and that's years out of date.

Access press delenda est. It's worse than useless. It's like looking at bad PR and payola (playola?) run by morons.

He probably didn't even go through the joining proper, he just became a warden by sucking so much dick at Vorhaut Fortress that he caught the taint, or like Trick would call it, the gift.
