"angry" gamers/critics

The problem with Strider i feel is that he's stagnant- he only makes the same video over and over again and talks about the same shows all the time. I mean, other critics do tend to repeat themselves (hello, Doug/Lindsay/everyone/Enter), but they usually try to change the topics/speak of a different movie from time to time. And the cartoon critics at least try to speak of other different cartoons/episodes there are out there, or at least try to offer some new idea/interpretation about an old/visited subject.

This guy is just "breadwinners sucks"/"steven universe rules" over and over again without stop. And never really offers anything new to say about it.

I dunno, I feel most reviewers may overrepeat themselves in content but only with Strider do I feel it's an annoying and obvious trait. Maybe it's bc of his delivery, that makes it stand out more?

I hear you, it's like he praises the same few shows, and also hates the same few shows and wants you to know about it. And remember, this is the same man who claims to have been able to tolerate The Nutshack and Drawn Together, something that most other cartoon reviewers (especially Enter and his fanbase) can't stand. While at the same time dismissing old Disney films for being racist and sexist. Something those two shows do regularly.

Strider's probably one of the most confusing cartoon reviewers out there in that regard.

TBH, do we really know if he dislike the old Disney films for the racist/sexist card? or maybe we're just supposing...Although, it's safe to assume considering he gushes over Zootopia and Steven Universe...
Honestly, who knows. As I said, Strider's pretty confused about his opinions.

This: he repeats and regularly references modern popular children's shows for views and whatnot, but this in turn makes his reviews very samey and dangerously spergy. He's also hilariously out of touch with fan reception for shows, like the time he tried making "underrated" lists because Doug sempai did it.

I'd give ideas on how to unfuck it, but it'd require Strider to widen his pallete for childrens shows, and we know he won't do that.

I wish there was a cartoon sperg whose targets weren't shows that lasted for like <10 episodes or got canned years ago. Pick something harder.

This is why I actually have a microscopic sliver of respect for Animat. For all his Sony Animation Pictures sperging and annoying voice and other nonsense, he puts his money where his mouth is when it comes to reviewing animated films of all kinds like Waltz with Bashir or A Scanner Darkly.

Hey, anybody else who has seen content of "Rowdy C" (Chris C. Moore) who makes an "angry reviewing" show called "TV Trash"?

Ah, how many people have pointed out how he looks like the love child of Chris-Chan and Linkara.

And that is the logo he uses for his website. Seriously!!

Despite some... "issues", he actually comes off as an above-average reviewer and at least showcases some obscure older cartoons.

Oh, this guy. This guy has far and away the most annoying, grating voice I've ever heard in a reviewer, while his "Crowning Moment of Awesome" page on TV Tropes is notable for stretching the definition of"awesome moment".

By the by, anyone know who this guy that looks a lot like him is?

I saw him pop up for a few seconds on Joey Hollywood's Chris Stuckmann video, and I can't find a thing about him.

EDIT: I just realized, man do they look like they were dropped on their heads as babies.

Indeed. Even Asalieri makes it his main issue about him:
Surprisingly, Rowdy went to the comments... and took the criticism gracefully.

Rowdy claims he has Asperger's Syndrome, and that's why he has such an awkward voice. In his more recent videos, however, you can tell he has done effort to make it sound easier to the ear.

Shit, I think he looks more like George Costanza.

I don't care what he looks like - Rowdy really just needs to keep his damn mouth shut (if he hasn't by now, already.), honestly.
