You have to remember the context of Phil's life around this time:

1. Post-Leanna Phil was desperate to prove he wasn't an immature manbaby who couldn't keep a hot young woman interested in him. I think this overrode what we'd call the standard DSP Flowchart of Needs. Kat was living with Subaru Man, and he was probably paying for her shit there the way Phil does now. I don't see how even Phil could make a gold digger pay for her own flight in this situation, unless Subaru Man was abusive or cutting the purse strings on Khey. I assume he whaled on her until he had her in the Snort Fort, and when she was finally Mrs. Burnell, the arrangement changed.

2. This is also Pre-Bankruptcy Phil, an idea he wouldn't act on until 2020, so he in all likelihood was putting everything on credit.

I agree with you that Doody is a total sperg. He posts a ton of click-baity vids full of wild speculation and he wrestles with the English language. Simping for Melonie Mac is even more cringe. However, Doody can be both retarded and correct.

Doody could be right, but when you put out as much garbage info as he does, you need to back up the truth with receipts. The fact that he's not taken seriously is his own fault.

Doody has been called out for this nonsense before, and he deflects by saying he's just messing around/it's all in fun. It's like the Phil vs Comcast guy situation. Phil has no credibility, so no one believed him. At least until we got proof. If Doody wants us to believe him, then he needs to present evidence of what he's saying.

Being right one out of every ten videos, and that's being generous, is a good reason to ignore everything Doody claims as fact.

DSP getting nominated and winning would be the most objectively funny outcome.

Not only because it would massage DSP's ego but because then people that don't know who DSP is will get told about who he is and some small percentage of them will fall "down the rabbit hole" like the rest of us poor souls trapped here for all of eternity... on page 5350 of the DSP megathread 2 which was continued on from page 10,001 of the DSP megathread 1 on the DSP subforum on kiwifarms (which almost has 500 thousand fucking forum posts)

I'm just imagining the people who would have to wade through DSP fighting game videos to find clips of him for their intro of him if he was in the top 4 or something. Sifting through the dozens of hours looking for moments when he's actually generating hype and finding almost nothing but whining, complaining about the game, being toxic about his opponent, or being a sore winner.

Nominated would be hilarious in it's own right because there would be streams worth of DSP waffling on getting his hopes up that he's finally "made it" as a streamer after all the years of just being the 10 minute clips guy from Youtube that jerked off on stream. Losing would be a small ego death but he'd probably turn up the copium that awards shows are for stupid mouthdrooling morons anyway, and if he won then the more affluent dramatubers might come sniffing around for content rather than the whiskey and meth addled Kino boys and by extension Da Sektur. Any way the wind blows, DSP getting wrapped up in it somehow would be the somewhat perfect finish to the Year of Smug Phil.
