By your logic, if you see a kid doing fucked up shit, you would immediately assume abuse and call the cops correct? Then the child is taken by child services, the family is broken up, they are taken from school, and them and any siblings they have are now in the Foster Care system. The Parent may go to jail, depending on the circumstances.

So then as far as you are concerned, the issue is resolved and the Child will be safe forevermore, right? Except in the case of foster homes and state run child care, that is not the case, due to statistics to with abuse in state care. So in fact you may have just made a bad situation that you have little information on, into a worse one.

But whenever I talk to people they believe the powers that be are some sort of holy force that will 100% protect the child until they are 18 now, physically and mentally. And I just don't understand that people would knee-jerk telephone the cops in that case. I mean I spose its not your responsibility that all that happened now? You were just trying to help.

But I just guess those sorts of questions are easier for some people.
