The Antaam are secondary antagonists(the Qunari military)-but they've...gone rogue and are just minions for the elven gods. (completely at odds with Qunari ideology), no mention of Sten who is the canonical(as in Bioware canon) Arishok.
They may have just whitewashed Solas-watching a bit of a youtube playthrough, he basically says the veil was a byproduct of the prison created for the evanuris, rather than his actual goal, and uh...tearing down the veil wouldn't actually kill everyone because he had loads of spirits to minimize the losses.

Holy Hell, they somehow undercut fucking Trespasser. The prequel to this game.

(I mean maybe Solas is lying but what he says in this snippet is directly contradictory to what he tells Inky).

Top sellers on Steam is so bipolar. You see big releases in the top ones, but then there will also be indie shit or a anime VN that barely sold anything there too.
Wonder if its based on trend or something, so when you see explosive sales on a title it gets automatically picked.

Best indicator is people following a game on SteamDB, if I am not mistaken Monster hunter game for February has double the following than DA Veilguard has at this point.

The sales catapulted upwards cause it's release week, watch it sink week after release once user reviews tear it to shreds.

They literally bought themselves time through curated critic reviews so they'd have a week of sales while dumb people buy it until the general community comes to understand they've been had by troons.

The Antaam bending the knee to corrupted elven gods(abominations) is real horsecrap. The Qunari culture is indeed THE culture in Thedas that should resist firmly to such influence and corruption(see their treatment of the mages and the action of their secret police in Tresspasser).
Worse, given the Antaam are the military branch they are probably even stricter with themselves than the rest of the population. I do not see how the entire army could defect in such a way. May be a few renegades military chief(some stens ?) could be swayed, but the Antaam as whole, no, that is just preposterous.

That feels more like more incompetency to me, if not another act of vandalism.

Lucanis appears to take the role of the cheeky "ally" emo bad boy. The male characters seem slightly less pozzed than most of the female ones, but you can still tell there is bad writing.

Very optimistic of you to think they played their own games. I don't think they even have a lore bible for the series. Or if there was one, it was lost in the decade between Cisquisition and this abortion.
