Never played it myself but I struggle to come up with more examples.

Brooklyn 99 is a good example. The show was always woke, but at the same time really funny and heartwarming. It got worse as it progressed, the last season is downright unwatchable due to the insufferable BLM bullshit they injected, but it's still overall a good show.

Does anyone have a TLDR of the story, just the "important" bits like the main plot and lore revelations, none of that sidequest cameo faggot shit or the companion quests.

Honestly they should've just continued with the primary focus being the blights/darkspawn and grey wardens. They wouldn't need to remake DAO for each blight because of the stuff with the Architect and could have still had all their elf lore crap embedded in sidequests and the background. Or even DLCs. Just like Origins did it.

Hear me out - we all, unfortunately, know that Woke is a Genie that’s likely never being stuffed back in the bottle. That said, people have built up a tolerance for it, or at least have returned to the pre-Current Year standard of “I don’t care if this character is Gay, just have them be well written”. BG3, especially in comparison to Troonguard, manages to clear that bar fairly consistently. I’m not saying it doesn’t have it’s own degeneracy, but it’s also not front and centre like Troonguards is.

To keep from rambling incoherently - Woke can be… tolerable, as long as it stays on the side of the line that isn’t Outright Preaching. That just requires Good Writing, and we all know Modern Game Devs enough to know they can’t manage that…

I think they should have finished the story years ago, before both the franchise and the company went to shit. To see the "conclusion" to that arc the way this game handles it is pretty pathetic, but then again what part of Dragon Age: Trans Rights isn't?
Seriously, if anyone is playing this game, feel free to bring up at least one positive that you have encountered so far. There has to be a reason this game is getting solid 90s across the board, right?
