I've never gotten myself super involved in the minutia of various Leftist factions and labelled ideologies, especially since a lot of it is just as muddled as whatever people say "fascism" is. But this is my basic understanding of the three core terms mean:
  • Socialism - The (supposedly) democratic government is all powerful, seizing control over all industries and resources to redistribute them so that everyone is "equal".
  • Communism - The utopia in which there is no government and everyone just naturally lives in equality, peace, and harmony with all resources being communal.
  • Marxism - The process of transitioning a society from capitalism to communism, using socialism as an intermediary step to rid the society of inequality. The general idea is that socialism will replace capitalism by some sort of (violent) revolution. Then once the socialist government has done its job in making everyone equal, it will just dissolve itself to give way to communism.
In this sense, "true communism has never been tried" because it's actually the unobtainable utopian pipe dream at the end of the road of Marxism. All of the countries that have ostensibly pursued communism happen to get stuck on the socialist step because the "redistribution" never ends with the all-powerful government remaining in place.

In normal political discourse today, the term "socialism" always gets used as a softer, socially-acceptable alternative to "communism", but the reality is that socialism is the worst part of the entire scheme while communism is just pure fantasy.

2020 was so blatantly rigged and that's why they dumped Biden. If Biden got beat by Trump people would have serious questions about how a guy who purportedly got 81 million votes could get so badly trounced. They'd also wonder when he didn't get anywhere near 81 million votes this time.

At least if Kamala gets owned they can pin it on Kamala being a shit candidate and not them blatantly stealing the last election

I think JD Vance might be the best VP candidate in modern history. He isn't the kind of guy you typically expect in modern politics: highly capable and intelligent. I have personally seen several real time epiphanies take place where normies whose only exposure to him have been MSM hit pieces and calling him weird, be forced to admit that he is an incredibly well spoken and reasonable guy.

Marxism is the underlying ideology. Communism is the ultimate goal. Socialism is an intermediary state between capitalism and communism. This is all straight from the mouth of Marx. I was in graduate school once upon a time and, even though my field had nothing to do with Marxist studies, I had to spend an entire year reading hundreds of pages of this drivel and writing papers about it. This goes on top of the hippy dippy upbringing I had.
