I don't suppose a decision was returned on the appeal? Just wondering if Nick turning up in Aaron's chat again was because he was feeling stymied. But that could also be from feeling frustrated due to failing in other avenues - legal or not - to get back at Aaron.
As far as I can see, nothing changed on the lower or appellate level since the 28th

This makes me wonder how much he was buying from the dealer each time. I'm guessing he would've started out small and gradually increased as the habit took over for them.
Can we assume that 26gs was maybe from a purchasable amount of 30 to 50 each time? Or did he go full Scarface and buy it in Keys?

Nick however, likes splashing out, so I am making an educated guess that he became a regular ounce customer and depending on how many noses he was packing, the ounce lasted for a slow week, or a real party weekend.
Agree with Botchy. Given the untidy state their house was found in on the search, they would have left evidence of a key lying around if Nick was scoring serious volume. He was buying a lot, but even then it was still baggy-sized purchases. (Although if Koomalot's number of $20k is accurate....)

He probably just started buying by the ounce. Keys is a little insane. I doubt Nick had that kind of money to splash around even at his wigger richest, and dealers at that level are distributors. They're really cautious about who they would trust with such an amount. At that level you start triggering federal mandatory minimums which are severe.

If he had bought in those quantities and then got busted in the fuckup, loser way he did his odds of catching a bullet before he could squeal would be really high.

My guess would be he bought whatever he could whenever he could whenever he went to some gay orgy in the city.

We actually know a bit more about his buying habits. All those trips for "Jerky" to the Twin Cities were likely drug trips. Yes, some of those he streamed.

Aaron recounted one time Nick took the whole qover (less the kids) to the Cities for Chinese food. Nick then had to excuse himself, just as food was about to come out, because he had to "go talk to a client". He was gone for nearly an hour, meanwhile the remaining three were at an initial confusion as to what to do. Aaron could not think of any other time he saw Nick doing law stuff.

We know per the court records, Nick didn't have any trials (outside of the embezzler he took on for some reason). Would anyone trust Nick with other work? Doubtful now, but who knows then? And why would someone in the Twin Cities area hire a lawyer from BFN?

Baldo Attorney Nick Rekieta now not authorized to practice law in the state of Minnesota. Failure to pay his fees. https://mars.courts.state.mn.us/AttorneyDetail.aspx?attyID=0397061

For comparisons sake and to clarify:

1.22 g/cm³ (density) for 26g of Cocaine is 21.31 cubic centimeters (cm³) volume.
21.31 cm³ of Flour at a density of 0.55 (average) g/cm³ would be 11.72 grams of Flour.

The nerd in me couldn't resist.
So would the cocaine pile look smaller than the flour picture because it's heavier, or the opposite?
(Feel free to weigh in... Ahem.. Nick, also, with the real answer if youre catching up on your fuck ups thread today).

11 grams of flour takes up the same volume as 26g of cocaine. An 11g pile of flour looks like a 26g pile of coke.
