I don't understand why people would care if Nick is guilty or not! The important here thing is the state loses! Also, taxation is theft, and roads are gay! *Starts blaring
Fuck the Police*

But there
are, Grifty.
This is the Juju and Styx strategy. Cry about how you feel the unpinning law is unjust. This is the type of argument you bring before a legislative body. Not a judicial one. If it had any chance of working in a judicial setting, it would have worked by now. The Controlled Substances Act would have been ruled unconstitutional long ago if doing Cocaine were a right, or there was no legitimate governmental interest in regulating the use of Cocaine.
Pretty sure these are people Nick is trying to cling onto when he hammers home the whole "I am under the thumb of government" thing. It's just about the only people he has left. These are also the people Barnes seems to appeal to.
If people find such libertarianism philosophy appealing, and want to advance it, that's fine. I don't begrudge anybody that. But I sometimes think there's a lack of understanding of civics in modern American society. There's the law you have, and the law you wish you had.
