In family court I can call him a liar at this point if he tells me the cocaine wasn't there. I wish to remind everytone to temper your expectations regarding anything from CPS and the Family Court. Remember for all his utter loathsome behaviors, Nick is a Sociopath. ANd he can be good at "seeming" and playing rules lawyer. It is unlikely the Family Court or CPS have been paying attention to Nick's Twitter feed. Or his streams. Or his circle of online orbiters. Anyone arguing against cocaine amounts being a felony should read a narco blog or should take a tour of the seedier parts of Medellin or Bogota at night time. I am all for legalizing most substances but cocaine is grimy. From the start of it's production, through to the transport and distribution before finally finishing being snorted up the nose of Western degenerates. The Indians peasants who grow it are effectively slave labor, the South Americans who smoke the Basuco (cocaine wastage) wander around the cities at night like a stinking horde of soulless undead, children are sold and sexually exploited all the way a long the pipeline from Peru to the good old United States, and people are murdered at every step a long the way (just read the narco blogs to see what goes on with cocaine and what gets done to people). Death, slavery and sexual exploitation of everyone including children go hand in hand with cocaine. Legalizing it won't fix those problems, it would only make it worse. It is the one drug I personally find to be justified as being a felony drug if found in traffic able amounts. I've got empathy for the addicts, and want resources put toward helping them dry out and get better. But those who traffick in large amounts, or feed it to others as a means of controlling them or coercing them into doing what they want, fuck them, they can rot as far as I am concerned. Mushrooms, LSD, MDMA, Ketamine, opiates, marijuana and other substances by all means legalize, tax and have help available. But cocaine is like Palm Oil, the very process of making the stuff involves a ton of human suffering and exploitation, and legalizing it's use will never change it.

It is funny, so many people watch Scarface and think of owning the tiger. They forget the ending where he murdered his best friend because he was incestuously attracted to his sister, abandoned and alone because he'd become an insufferable dick before being murdered because he was so egotistical he fucked up what would have been an easy thing to do at multiple steps (not paying the bank the higher demand for laundering, going cheap on money laundering and getting caught by the cops, getting coked out and stopping an assassination, telling the guy higher in the food chain to go fuck himself etc). It got a lot of traction in the weeks after the arrests. I think what's pissing Nick off is it being revived as a topic of discussion. He assumed that people would have moved on from caring about the polycule, the drugs, and the neglect charges and 6 months on they're still major topics of discussion as he heads into a month of more legal shit.
