Unironically though I think that would be the thing that makes me give up entirely on the country, because at that point there is literally no hope left and I'm better off becoming a braindead consoomer.

Haven't seen anyone comment on this. Democrat Colorado family of mine seemed depressed about this election and mentioned they were planning on voting Kamala (of course) but didn't seem enthusiastic. I was curious if this was a shared sentiment and sure enough it looks like Colorado isn't immune from the doom and gloom of the Trump curse this year either.

Total early votes are down by 300k compared to 2020, and there are of course drops in all voters but dems are down by 276k compared to 2020, Republicans down by 154k, and unaffiliated down by 112k. Young voters are also down, and 50+ are up so far.

So at least for early voting dems are down over double over Republicans.
I couldn't tell where unaffiliated tends to lean in Colorado in exact percentages, but interesting regardless. They do take up 41% of early voting this year though so it's not insignificant.

They're coping in an article (Archive) that it's due to the long ballot or Colorado being deep blue but if the "Trump is le Hitler" rhetoric was working wouldn't dems just vote kamala and leave the rest blank?

I don't think Colorado will flip of course, as they won by +14 in 2020. But if we're talking popular vote... I find it interesting. Also seeing demoralization of dems is always amusing.

Also worth noting it was only +5 in 2016 and if people really hate Kamala more than Hillary who knows. Still don't think it'll happen but if it does further narrow it would be funny anyway.

Last time around? I mean there was people inviting people to gay conversation threads to shit talk the other threads that constantly got leaked to the same threads, a mod quit after the election, Null got pissed at people bitching to him to ban people for disagreeing to the point where he wanted to delete A&N, and in general election day gloating followed by coping, seething, and HHH going on a victory lap.

I don't remember 2016 very well because I really only browsed the forum for updates on a few lolcows back then and I forgot the site existed after Null killed the site back when because his family got threatened.
