Right before Jake's 1,239,822,761 tweet threatening suicide was this classic example of his creepy, self absorbed behavior. He tweets the gimme list of arab lesbo gamer girl he is so thirsty. He states he might just start retweeting all the wishlists of his chosen people all night long, because "tis the season." (Christmas spirit to St. Jake is pushing a button to tell other people they should buy shit for ppl Jake has deemed worthy of his RT.)

But then @petitemistress ignores him and doesn't retweet Jake's own gimme list. Jake realizes that retweeting gimme lists and paterons won't ensure his list/pateron gets retweeted or even asspats, so fuck it. He doesn't retweet or share another damn e-begging link all night even though tis the season. Jake realizes he's not getting the response he wanted and within 1.5 hours resorts to a new mystery sandwich suicide threat for attention and asspats but none of the people he so thirsty for give two shits.

I kind of think at this point Jake is like one of those cult leaders that predicts the end of the world on a certain date to whip his followers into a frenzy, and then the date comes and goes and nothing happens and so a few followers start leaving. Another date is predicted and it too passes, more followers leave or start losing faith. So the cult leader stops making concrete date predictions and resorts to vague prophecies that can be interpreted a many ways to cover his ass.

Jake has threatened so suicide so many times only to return to twitter within days. He now realizes he's being ignored by a lot of people due to the endless cry wolf bullshit, so he's resorted to mystery sandwich tweets that could easily be interpreted as suicide threats, but when he doesn't follow through on Jan. 31 he will just say that wasn't what he meant, he was talking about being homeless, losing internet, etc.. (which is also all totally bullshit.)

The only sword over Jake's head might be his mom saying his 35 year old ass has to get a job/pay rent, but sadly I doubt even that is happening.

Has he ever made clear what it is he actually wants people to do? What does he need help with? Various random twitter people have offered to talk to him via private messages, asked him what he needed over and over again. Why is New Years such a magical date for him?

I know it's frowned upon to get angry at cows, but man, he really does rub me the wrong way.

What "help" is Jake expecting?

He differs from our other cows in that he doesn't seem to have a laundry list of things he believes would fix his life. Whether they're right or wrong, our other cows can mostly name specific things they think would solve their problems - a job, a relationship, stable housing, moving somewhere new. Jake, on the other hand, just seeks constant, shallow, validation.

Even to Jake, it must be obvious that those "you are loved, you are valued" responses are mostly automatic and insincere. Most of Jake's asspatters can't tell him *why* he is loved or valued because they have no idea who he is as a person and their interactions with him are so shallow.

If this is really about Blowy Zoey, then I'm not sure why Jake feels like being emotionally manipulative and behaving as though he's entitled to her attention will have a positive outcome. Even those who intensely dislike Zoe are unlikely to champion Jake's abusive behaviour.

I don't know whether Jake is infatuated with Zoe or whether he's just resentful that he was unable to ride Gamergate into a career of sorts, but no-one in their right mind is going to consider becoming Jake's real life friend or employer when his public reaction to losing an internet friend indicates that he'd create nothing but drama.

I think the fact that none of his Twitter "friends" have even mentioned calling in a welfare check indicates their real level of concern.

While it's obvious Jake wants everyone to assume he's talking about suicide he won't come right out and say it so he won't have to make up another absurd whopper about a suicide prevention cat when he's back on twitter Jan 2 or 3. (Jake might do a RPG binge for a few days to keep himself off twitter in hopes that people will flock to his twitter with worry and remorse.)

He won't tell people what to do because even he realizes spelling out "force Zoey Quinn to be my twitter friend" is fucking absurd and he would be laughed at by even hardened troons and SJWs. Better it be a mystery sandwich about transphobia, poverty and terrible 4chan black ops.

Jake's behavior pisses off any normal person because he's using threats of suicide to try and force/emotionally bully certain women into being his friend. It's the worst type of narcissistic behavior and emotional blackmail. Plus jerk offs like Jake ensure that people don't take suicidal ideation from other people seriously because they get compassion fatigue from threats of suicide being used like a toddler trying to get his way. He's literally threatening to kill himself if certain women won't be his twitter friend, it doesn't get any pettier or utterly ridiculous than that.

Unless his Twitter friends have read this thread, it's unlikely they know who he really is. His best chance of getting a welfare check would come from a Kiwi, but we all know he's not going to do anything except play games and bitch on Twitter.

He's interacted with both Athena Hollow and Wu lately. They were both part of the CON group and presumably know who he is.

His own tweets make it clear that he's been asking people to harass Zoe into talking to him and they've declined to do so. Those people presumably know who Jake is too. Whatever the initial reason why Zoe cut Jake loose, since then he's shown himself to be a stalkerish creep - and that makes it unlikely the people who do know who he is are likely to try to rescue him. They just wish he'd go away and don't especially care how that happens.

Jake's suicide baiting isn't intended for the majority of his almost 3,000 followers. It's intended for the handful who have access to Blowy Zoe.

Jake was almost self-aware here. Almost.

I think jake really, REALLY assumed he'd have an army of ass kissers to do his bidding and give him money for toys when he got in good with the rat king, with Zoey as his best friend and eventual lover. All his hopes were pinned on this because for once in his sad life people talked to him for reasons that didn't involve emotional manipulation.

What I think we're seeing is the delusions of a man who has nothing and can't accept he's been muted. Zoey doesn't give a shit about him or anyone in the norasphere, and when he tweets out 40 posts all tagging her she just put him on silent for being a nuisance because he means nothing to her. So he tries suicide baiting but she still has him muted and even his dumbest friends know he's crying wolf and he just doesn't understand why it stopped working.

I think part of it may also be that GG raised the profile of several nobodies and Jake is now resentful that his involvement in it didn't transform him from unsuccessful "game dev" Jake Alley to well known "game dev" Secret Gamer Girl.

He never found a way to exploit his involvement for either recognition or cash, and I suspect he genuinely feels he was owed both in much the same way that Chloe Sagal feels she is owed success because reasons.

Star Wars has cast black and female leads, now a gay lead, etc.. but these fucking babies will claim SW is racist even if Luke Skywalker is black gender queer trans-man and Leia a trans-Latinx lesbian asexual in a wheelchair.

Ok, this meme is soooooo perfectly the entirety of what's wrong with Jake and his ilk. They are lionizing weakness and failure; they are blowing smoke up the asses of the terminally manipulative, they are rationalizing away the worst sorts of limp-wristed social gamesmanship.

Jakes's suicide baiting is almost some sort of performance art high comedy; it's so wholly over the top it actually transcends being an example of the behavior and devolves into self-satire. The fact that this is not only tolerated, but defended, however limply, will guarantee it never stops.
