I hate Hasan as much as any of you do (maybe even more) but I do not think he is antisemitic, if anything I would argue he is philoisemitic and he continually deflects criticism of Jews and Jewish interest towards more socially acceptable targets like White people,Christians and fascist.

He's only anti-Semitic in that he's critical of Israel because the tangled weave of Progressive non-thinking demands that he be so. The anti-colonialist, anti-White mindset, combined with intersectionality theories, combined with the Left's obsession with Islamophobia and 'liberalizing' Muslims, combined with the bulk of Hasan's audience having no understanding of the history of the Middle East or Jerusalem means Israel simply falls into the ideal ideological enemy strawman of the far-Left, and as Hasan is technically a Muslim he's simply well positioned to use it to give people the validating content they want - which means he falls into the ideal propagandist. Given Hasan seems capable of critical thinking and perspective when it suits him, his real skill seems to be able to work out what radical Progressives want to hear in the moment even if they're untrue or self-contradictory. He and the far-Left have sort of become anti-Semitic entirely by accident, which is actually really funny.

But it's pretty cool to do to a total nigger like Hasan, and getting Congress involved in what is ultimately streaming react content? We're in uncharted territory.

I agree it sets a disturbing precedent. It's frustrating because Hasan deserves censure for being a wanker and a shit and for being pro-censorship himself, but institutions being pushed into silencing his views (or what he professes as same) even if they're insane or wrong is surely un-American (I imagine supporting censorship is protected by the First Amendment). In a way it vindicates Hasan and the pro-Palestine Progressives as it demonstrates pretty starkly the pro-Israel lobby is willing to resort to despotic tactics to brute force public opinion on a war that most people (including those who support one side over another) recognize is a moral quagmire.

That said, there's a kind of poetic irony in the people obsessed with guilt and victimhood being shut down by the nation that guilts the entire world as a matter of foreign policy.

I find myself wondering if hasan has any real concept of how badly this could end for him, it's one thing to say some edgy shit about warmongering faggotry like zioclops himself dan crenshaw getting his eye hole fucked.
