Again, I'm not trying to doom, but remember when he gave Hillary a 95% chance in 2016?

I would like those odds more, if they weren't coming from the Jim Cramer of election analysts. The superstitious part of me that recognizes historical trends is telling me he just gave Trump the Kiss of Death.
He was the only modeler who gave Trump a greater than 1% chance of winning in 2016.

If I remember right his actual predictive model was like 65/35, it was the NYT and some other dingbats running with the 95% crap.

1.2 million allegedly illegible voters were found in Arizona. Citizen AG sued, and Arizona Judge ordered Arizona to hand over the records for independent verification, but refused to order Arizona to remove them from the voters lists. There is no allegation that these people voted at all.

We told the King to go fuck off for less than what the state of New York did to the couple that owned Peanut and Fred

When the redcoats showed up and ransacked the property of a suspected Son of Liberty in 1774 Massachusetts, based off a tip from some Tory... usually, at least, the target actually was conspiring to rebel against the King, and the suspected crime was, you know, rebellion

Here some asshole thousands of miles away made an anonymous report to a government whose jurisdiction she doesn't even live in, just to feel the rush of unleashing destructive power to ruin other innocent people's lives. Pure sociopath behavior. And the government happily rushed into action, sending out its myrmidons to ruin those innocent lives, because they get to feel that rush too. More sociopathy

When Trump wins he needs to make Mike Tyson Secretary of Making Consequences Great Again

Those votes read like mafia threats for a reason.
And you live in an area that tends to vote heavily blue there’s an implication that you should fall in line too.

Was there ever a consensus on whether voting early or voting on election day is better for avoiding shenanigans? I’m thinking about going tomorrow but I’m not sure.

edit: I’m dumb and early voting closed on the 31st, although I’m still curious what the ‘safest’ way to vote is.

Update on the Selzer poll:

IMO she'll come out after the election and admit the Dems pushed her to put this poll out or say something along the lines of "I put it out because Democracy was at stake, and that's worth more than my reputation!"

Either that, or she'll be done polling because her reputation will be cooked. She basically admitted she's a partisan hack with this - something that a lot of pollsters are but they never drop the mask like she did.

While the Peanut memes have been great, the situation in of itself is genuinely tragic and heinous.

The feds will do nothing about armed illegal Venezuelan gangs taking over apartment buildings and terrorizing American citizens, but they will fuck up a family who lives on a farm taking care of rescue animals.

This is exactly what tyranny looks like.

It's really telling that Europe didn't abandon this system after the Nazis used it to gain control of Germany. They want this system because there are fewer checks and balances.

Hitler needed to beg to be made Chancellor. And then only captured the presidency by waiting for von Hindenberg to die and get a plebiscite to hand over his office.

Trump doesn't have to beg for anything. I hate all the comparisons to Hitler because the NSDAP never won a majority, and the referendum vote to merge the President and Chancellorship into one office wasn't a referendum on Hitler himself.

Trump has never once wavered from the democratic process. They call him a fürher because he calls out Democrat shenanigans openly and plainly and calls the people who are supposed to be doing oversight, names.

It literally is the nasty tweets and the catchy names that have sent them over the railing this whole time. They cannot stand it. They cannot stand that their phony degrees and their hollywood celebrities are destroyed when Trump hands out a new nickname.

I think it's more that the establishment hates him, turned the press into a firing squad, and most people trust the press and don't do their research.

The rich people of the world are not above trying to exclude people for not toeing the line. Trump and Musk don't need to answer to anyone. That not only makes them seethe, it makes them scared.

I am thinking that the wife must have a bull on the side for years.

This type of stories have to be fictitious. Everyone gets privacy when they vote. Is your wife standing over your shoulder watching you vote for Kacklin' Kamala? Actually now that I consider it that is probably exactly what happens.

Oh, dear. They aren't even trying to hide it this cycle.

What sparked the Revolution is that Francis Smith was ordered by Thomas Gage to dismantle and destroy the materiel of the local Massachusetts militias, many of which were to defend against Indian raids and many of which were veterans of the French and Indian War (the Seven Years War to you Euros). The British also dissolved the colonial government because the people of Massachusetts resisted bullshit British taxes. So the British decided to send in the tanks, dictator style, and got fucking routed by the local farmers.

Honestly, there probably wouldn't have been a fight had the British not totally dismantled local government and told the locals they couldn't defend themselves. This is why we have the Second Amendment: good government does not want to disarm you.

I am not comparing Trump to Hitler. I am saying European leaders wish they could be dictators like him.

"There is no law so obscene that the police would not be willing to enforce it, up to and including the execution of innocent squirrels." ~ Michael Malice, I think

It won't be a repeat of 2016 when they went into uncontrolled retard rage, but it will be really fucking demoralizing for them.

2016 was a special magic. Whole nation was hyped up by the media hardcore for a Clinton Coronation, and by 430 Eastern, you could see the worry eyes appear behind the smugsmirks.

And then watch it degrade into total cranial collapse after Florida was called and it wasn't even close for her.

What we won't get is "IT WAS HER TURN" coping, they'll straight up blame the establishment for running a loser candidate, going so far as calling her controlled opposition. Maybe it will lead to some purges in the primaries but the Democrats have cooked the books on the primaries to ensure that there wouldn't be a surprise Bernie upset. (Even if a win was unlikely).

The difference isn't "Hillary assured win" is that the Democrats believed Hillary was a good candidate. No one believes that Kamala is a good candidate, and should she lose those "YAAS QUEEN SLAY" articles will be replaced with something nasty.
