Betting markets are worth even less than polls, and Yes, Trump can win without PA if he gets any of the other "lean dem" states to be republican. (He needs 2 EVs to make up the loss of PA and still win)

If PA is called early, though, it's almost certain Trump wins.

Looking at returned mail ballots:

• Democrats: 439k, 58.7% share, previously 1,576k, 43.1% share
• Republicans: 150k, 20.5% share, previously 949k, 26% share
• None/Minor: 153k, 20.9% share, previously 1,131k, 30.9% share
• Total: 734k ballots returned, previously 3,658k ballots returned

2020 mail in ballots are obviously due to COVID. There was no in-person early voting apparently, or at least the site doesn't list it.

2024 in-person early voting:

• Democrats: 362k, 35.7%
• Republicans: 358k, 35.3%
• None/Minor: 295k, 29%
• Total: 1,016k

Between in-person early voting and mail-in ballots the total is 1,750k votes vs 3,658k in the previous election. So there's probably nearly 2 million votes yet to be cast. This seems like an oddly high number, which would indicate either people don't give a shit about voting or nearly 50% of votes are going to be done on election day.

I know registrations have changed but just doing some simple comparisons.

I wonder why so many unaffiliated didn't vote early, only 40% is extremely low compared to Democrats/Republicans that are within a point of each other. Since Republicans vote more often in person on election day than Democrats I wonder if that's why there's such a gap. Still seems extremely odd to me.

The reason the United States has an income tax is because before the Passing of prohibition the various taxes on Alcohol made up around 40% of Government Revenue so in order for the Prohibitionists to get alcohol banned they had to introduce something to replace all that lost revenue beforehand which was the Federal Income tax which passed in 1913 with Prohibition coming into effect 4 years later.
