For people having Democrat media being all they listen to, 2016 had assured Hillary a safe win, to the point where it may have helped Trump by having some people not show up.

The thing is that Republicans can't compare to Democrats in terms of election hopium because of the polls and media are balanced wildly differently. A Clinton supporter who paid attention to Trump would've known it was going to be significantly closer. I don't think anyone here gives Trump a 95% chance of winning.

The bigger comparison is 2020. Some of the stuff I saw on /r/TheDonald was wildly optimistic with NV and VA going for Trump, and he might've won had the mysterious "plumbing problems" and hockey puck not shown up in the wee hours of the night.
2016 was when the media ended up fucking over Democrats unintentionally.

Doomers like me believe that the EV turnout has drained Republican voters on Election Day and Democrats will turn out in enough numbers to outvote them, or more likely, that the same mechanisms used for Biden in 2020 will be re-utilized and sink chances for the swing states. Yes, I know that it's harder to rig this time around, but Trump had more votes in swing states in 2020, as well.

The sticky point is that it's basically codified at this point.

I also think winning a clean sweep of the swing states plus something like VA or NJ is unrealistic. My personal predictions is that a Trump win won't be more than 330, but a Kamala win will be 300 or less.
I think you're right for the most part, but I don't think Democrats are going to turn out in bigger than usual numbers on voting day, the early voting push has been just as strong for them. There's still going to be a sizeable boost for Republicans on election day because of older people who've always done it like that and people holding off for fear of ballot fuckery. I'm going election day for the celebratory aspect anyway

Dunno how true it is, but supposedly, supposedly happened.
I knew it was going to be something that horrifyingly petty. I'll refrain from saying more.
@Francis York Morgan When a new president is elected or appointed or whatever is decided, are you guys going to keep this thread or will you start a new US Politics General thread like you did during the previous election?
I'll try and find the time to discuss it with @Useful_Mistake in the next day or so.

Not to be another doompilling retard, but I really gave up hope it will be election “night.” Even the Maricopa county government said it could take 13 days to count the results. In what world does it take 13 days to count the results in one state? For comparison India takes a month to count election results for the whole country, and they have like 500 million votes cast.
This is the thing I heavily disagree with: labeling ANYONE who isn't hollering about TRUMP WILL WIN as a doomer faggot.
I will vote, I WANT Trump to win, I fucking hate Kamala, and yes a lot of the built in cheating measures have been disarmed, but unless the election is called on Midnight (which won't happen) then the chances for Kamala to slither in are high.
Remember, all it takes is outdoing Trump by a few votes. But considering the utter retards working with the DNC/Kamala I expect them dumping hundreds of thousands and raising instant suspicion.

Honestly I wouldn't hold my breath on the results until after everything is said and done. It's likely to be very close regardless of the outcome.

Honestly I think Joe Biden should resign right after the winner is determined so that Kamala Harris gets to be president for a month or so and then she has to give over the keys to Donald in January.

That would create butthurt for Hillary as first woman president, and it would create butthurt because she doesn't get to stay for long anyway.

I disagree. She already has to certify the votes in congress as VP. That stings enough.

A month?
Try one day. https://www.newsweek.com/india-vote-election-counting-modi-1908222
They might not know how to use soap or a toilet but they do know how to count.

Kamala as president (even for as little as 2 months) would try to arrest trump if he wins. She's petty enough to try it, and she'd go full dictator if she loses.

The first and only woman president being less consequential than William Henry Harrison would be absolute kino.

Pollsters are in full cope mode - the fact they're doing this should make you feel good.

lol @ the top issue being "threat to democracy". Tell me you oversampled Dems without telling me you oversampled Dems. No Republican or sane Independent cares about this IRL.

Well said. I don’t want to be like that and doom but I’m just seeing things as they are unfortunately. I want you guys to know that even if she does win however, it will just be four more years of everything behind handled by the staffers - Kamala won’t be doing any of the work herself. There will probably be a recession or some downturn in 2026, but I feel it would happen either way. However if Trump wins expect them to use that as an excuse to say “omahgerd Trump is the worst president ever and had the worst economy!” when that time comes around.

You won't have a choice when a candidate cheats in half the states to get elected then declares the USA a communist dictatorship.
In such an event as you describe, I will have a choice: it's called a gun. Something that you Eurocucks gave up long ago in favor of social democracy.

Nobody is doing that though, retard. We're labeling the "might as well not even vote! They'll just cheat" niggers as doomers. Particularly people who only post that ad nauseum.
Edit: Sorry for calling your a retard.

The pollsters are claiming that they undersampled women and minorities in earlier polls, which just tells me they're setting up a "surprise" Kamala victory by stuffing the ballots for 2 weeks and claiming that six gorillion women and blacks voted on election day to save Our Democracy™.

Fair enough, but my original point is that there is a distinct difference between doomer retards and people who experienced 2020 first hand and know that if Kamala is cheated in nothing can be done to stop it (minus fedposting shit)
But yes, VOTE. For all I know, most of the cheating traps might have been sprung, so who knows?
