ZUN seems to have been trying to take the franchise in a more commercial direction as of late, so... probably something to do with the fact that shonen battle manga just sells better in Japan if I had to guess

I thought the translated title was changed to something like Foul Detective Satori, so, from the sounds of things, it would the far more fitting Foul now.

They have a subreddit that is just shitposting and they also have a private subreddit (i suppose that is the real subreddit)
But you can just type on google cum tribute fumo and you gonna see it

Oh ok because I'm trying to archive everything related to it. I was trying to get in the real subreddit but I cant manage too. I got into the private discord and my god are there a lot of troons.
On that note is there any good way to archive a discord server?

I've searched around a bit, found this post that links this Discord exporter: https://github.com/Tyrrrz/DiscordChatExporter . Post I've linked does explain how it should work, it'll generate an html file which you'll have to save. It also has quite hilarious terms of use, and the example picture got some Discord server in the list with Reimu as its icon. Curious!

It would be infinitely preferrable for CDS to be a tribute to Agatha Christie as ZUN is a fan of her detective stories. I've been looking for the interview ever since I found this post, but I've had trouble finding it. But the gist of the interview from what I remember is that ZUN adapts the story he's writing to the strengths of the artist he's working with, the first artist couldn't draw a lot of fights and eventually dropped out so it was more of a mystery, but the new artist is good at drawing lots of fights so the story is more action-y.

Now that you brought it up, I suppose that could explain why Sangetsusei ended up being one the better flowing manga series overall. ZUN and the artist Hirasaka, in my opinion anyways, worked fantastically together to make it what it is. It basically became Hirasaka's own project right from the second entry where the recipe laid out to create a fun fairy manga was done in great execution.

Perhaps one day I'll check out Cheating Detective when it concludes to see if I was missing anything. That is if it will end sometime soon; at the rate it's going, it'll surpass all of the Three Fairies volumes!

Yep, half expected this to happen. Of course any unneeded political discussion can't happen without constantly hammering in that a certain individual is the conceptual manifestation of PURE E-VILE itself
