Because, quite frankly, I don't. I went on Silk Road when it was still up because I was genuinely shocked that somebody would think it's a good idea to set up an online shop for hard drugs and I had to know if it was true. It's not like they were just selling weed on there. You could buy heroin, bathsalts, cocaine, meth, etc. Literally anything you can think of. These are life destroying drugs.

Every argument I see pro-freeing him is literally the "He's a good boy. He dindu noffin' wrong." argument. They'll argue he didn't actually sell the drugs. He just ran the store that sold the drugs. Which isn't an excuse. If I buy a warehouse and invite a bunch of drug dealers to sell there, even if I'm not directly involved in the buying and selling, I'm 100% responsible for drug dealers selling drugs in my warehouse. Especially if I'm taking a percentage. The entire point of the Silk Road was to facilitate the trade of illegal goods via crypto.

I've even had loberts claiming Amazon and Ebay wouldn't be held responsible for selling drugs. Which they would if they were knowingly facilitating the sale of them. Not just some slipping under the radar in disguised listings. They do active moderation to keep drugs off their sites. They'll also report you to authorities if they catch you. One even tried to argue to me that heroin isn't a life destroying drug.

Realistically, all data and common sense says Trump will win massively because there is absolutely no logic behind the idea that Kamala could even eke out a slight win. It's not even close. She should be utterly decimated to a degree that the race will be decided long before all the states are even in.

What's actually going to happen is Kamala will cheat, and she will cheat hard. It will be a leaking boat with a thousand little holes all trying to drag Trump's results down. The smart cheat has her barely beating Trump, but the ideologues involved will likely try to make Kamala win harder than Biden just to try to punish Trump more.

I have slim hope that Trump will manage to keep his head above water just enough to beat the cheat, but I expect a loss.

However, if he does win, and if they don't find some way to stop him before his inauguration, I don't expect much. We can expect more tariffs and expelling illegals, more of the wall built and fortified, and the war in Ukraine and Palestine being stopped. Anything beyond that is a wishing horse. Politicians always promise big, and Trump promises huge. I'm not getting married to the idea of his sweeping changes until I see them happening, even if I'd like them to happen.
