You in Texas?, It's been years since I lived there but that state uniquely contains a significant hispanic GOP voting block, especially in the rural western regions, not sure why, but its how TX has remained a solidly republican voting state even as hispanics have become the largest racial group

A lot of people don't like to vocalize they're voting red. Few of my buddies are voting Trump, but because the current thing is "red candidate bad" they don't bring it up at all unless they know it's someone who isn't gonna thought police them.

Sending a message from outside of this thread's echochamber, you guys should know that polls are in RAZOR THIN margins between the two, the chances of any landslide are extremely low, either it tips one or the other, the best Trump can do is basically pray he barely reaches the W.

Assuming that the polls favor Democrats, the margins aren't as razor-thin as you're expecting. A +1.5 swing (either way) would sink Kamala's chances in those states.

This dawned on me. My local union that sent out letters in the mail trying to convince members to vote for Biden last election hasn't made a single peep regarding a Kamala endorsement in our jurisdiction. She's so ass that our union local doesn't want to say anything about it.

Unions aren't throwing their support behind Kamala probably because how badly Biden fucked them over. I think they remember the railroad strike because Reagan caught a lot of flak from the unions about using the decades-old Railway Labor Act to stop the rail strike, yet Biden rushed over and did the same thing, despite the fact that a rail strike wouldn't cripple the economy like it would've back in the 1930s (or Canada).

This is not how statistics work.

These states are not uncorrelated, independent variables. The polls are all too close to be realistic (realistically we should see more at the edges of MoE and not all clustered in one place), and any particular polling error could lead to a tilt of a couple of percentage points, which would put things in landslide territory.

The idea that the polls being super close means a landslide is unlikely is crazy talk. Turnout in Michigan isn't somehow independent of turnout in Wisconsin. People are connected. An overlooked voter segment turning out in droves, if that were to happen, wouldn't just be a one-state phenomenon.

It’s so apparent where I am right now. Most of these illegals with temp work papers are working the fast food restaurants. Not one of them above the age of 20 can speak a mere word of English. NOT ONE! It’s fucking absurd, they love to blare their music out, especially towards the night.

You’re at a Mc’Ds, first time in a while. And you decide to order inside and get a Big Mac or something. First thing you’re introduced to is that blaring music of theirs. Then, you order at a kiosk. Now you’re waiting for your food, and all you hear is broken English being used to take drive thru orders, and Spanish to process them. They’re all being hustled around like little gimps. People destined for servitude is the best I can describe the feeling of the sight. And it makes you feel fucking disgusted. As you get your order called out, the person calling it has to have another by them to tell them how to say it in “Engles.”

This about not speaking English... I was watching this youtube video the other night about this sleeper train in Pakistan and these British guys were taking it on a 24 hour trip. It was horrible and dirty of course, but what struck me is every single Pakistani they encountered spoke fluent English and even spoke it with correct inflection, it was incredible. I told my wife isnt it something that in the US most are incapable of speaking English now, and on top of that most of these illegals are illiterate in their own language and are speaking broken Spanish.

Everyone else on the planet speaks English, but these "newcomers" here cant be bothered to.
