No, this image doesn’t accurately depict how colorblindness works. Most colorblind people aren't completely unable to distinguish red from blue; the most common types of colorblindness affect the ability to distinguish between red and green (deuteranopia and protanopia) or blue and yellow (tritanopia), rather than red and blue.

In red-green colorblindness, for example, reds may appear as more muted or brownish, and greens may look similar to reds. In tritanopia, blues and yellows may appear less distinct from each other. However, pure blue and red are generally distinguishable even for those with red-green colorblindness, though the shades might appear different.

The Babylon Bee's joke is based on a popular misconception, which is often exaggerated for comedic effect, but it doesn't accurately represent what a colorblind person would see in this scenario.

yes. once the campaign is over the candidates get to pocket all the money. win or lose, mo cheddah is beddah
Get it twisted. Run for office. Do start campaigning. Politics is serious business and for serious people only. You will lead in the polls. You will get elected. If you watch the entire context of my all my campaigning over the last 15 months, I get 99.8% of the vote. The National Committees literally tell you, straight up they give you the party platforms. And you don't have to be a policy genius to run on those issues. It is a way to change the country quick. You will pull the economy out of any low points of the last four years. It will put you in a fucking lasting legacy part of history.

Not to powerlevel too much, but I worked a job at a hospital as a teenager.

My experience there redpilled me about the topic of illegal immigration altogether. Countless times, I heard some heinous shit in broken English, such as "I get free everything and you have to pay for me, dumb Americans" or the occasional temper tantrum from an illegal when they couldn't come across anyone in the hospital who could speak fluent Spanish. And, of course, the predatory behavior from the men towards young women. I was so uncomfortable after a certain point that my parents were kind enough to drive me to work and to pick me up RIGHT at the front entrance so that I didn't have to walk alone in a parking garage to get to my car (God Bless my Mom and Dad, btw).

My job experience happened long before Trump came into the picture with politics. Anyone with any life experience and reading skills could easily see how illegal immigration has been a significant problem in the United States for decades now. Trump was the first one to force the topic forward into the spotlight. That is precisely why he won in 2016: he was the first to actually acknowledge the problems that real Americans are facing firsthand.

Even during that short time I was a Never Trumper in 2015, I told lots of people, "Look, I don't like him ... But I am glad he's running, because it's forcing the do-nothing Republicans to finally address the issue." Based on the shit I saw and experienced, illegal immigration was always on my radar as a very important issue ... And now, it appears to be more important than ever.

I still don't agree with every single thing Trump has said or done. But, damn it, he's the best President of my lifetime, and I'm proud that I can tell my kids and grandkids that I supported this guy in spite of all the bullying and pressure not to.

He deserves a second term. Hard working Americans deserve a second term. American children deserve a second term. Prayers up, energy up ... Let's get this done. ❤️

Except for the women who support Trump, the women who weren't comfortable taking an experimental "vaccine," or the women who are concerned about the skyrocketing violent crime rate being perpetrated against them by illegal immigrants.
Don't forget the women who are uncomfortable with mentally ill men in dresses invading their bathrooms. Those women are bigots!

Comfy plans for Election Day:
  • Be at the polls when they open at 7 a.m., because I have no idea how long it might take and it'll be cool to see what the early crowd looks like.
  • (Optional) Shoot the

god that's so slimey wtf. They seriously get to keep money donated to the campaign that cant be used on campaigning?

What does this even mean? I recall atlas released a poll and it was favorable to Trump. This was a few days ago, I doubt it is much different today.
Either he implies that the poll did a massive 180 towards Kamala (temper your expectations about the poll, it's going to look bad) or it swung even harder towards Trump (temper your expectations about what you're going to see, great numbers don't mean you already won)

No matter what, he's setting up that poll as being significantly different than the previous Atlas poll which was a HUGE sweep for Trump.

EDIT: Last Poll for reference
AZ: Trump+6.8
NV: Trump+5.5
NC: Trump+3.6
GA: Trump+1.8
PA: Trump+1.7
MI: Trump+1.5
WI: Trump+1.3

I want to know your opinions on the Silk Road guy. If you think he should be set free.
Because, quite frankly, I don't. I went on Silk Road when it was still up because I was genuinely shocked that somebody would think it's a good idea to set up an online shop for hard drugs and I had to know if it was true. It's not like they were just selling weed on there. You could buy heroin, bathsalts, cocaine, meth, etc. Literally anything you can think of. These are life destroying drugs.

Every argument I see pro-freeing him is literally the "He's a good boy. He dindu noffin' wrong." argument. They'll argue he didn't actually sell the drugs. He just ran the store that sold the drugs. Which isn't an excuse. If I buy a warehouse and invite a bunch of drug dealers to sell there, even if I'm not directly involved in the buying and selling, I'm 100% responsible for drug dealers selling drugs in my warehouse. Especially if I'm taking a percentage. The entire point of the Silk Road was to facilitate the trade of illegal goods via crypto.

I've even had loberts claiming Amazon and Ebay wouldn't be held responsible for selling drugs. Which they would if they were knowingly facilitating the sale of them. Not just some slipping under the radar in disguised listings. They do active moderation to keep drugs off their sites. They'll also report you to authorities if they catch you. One even tried to argue to me that heroin isn't a life destroying drug.
Play stupid games win stupid prizes.
While I don't think he should necessarily be set free, I think his sentence absolutely needs to be revisited because it was over the top. If the only method of getting there is a presidential pardon, then so be it. The guy behind it was a retard for so many reasons (using the same username he advertised the site for on clearnet, trying to hire a hitman via the dark web to take out a "scammer" when neither of these characters existed), so some punishment is absolutely deserved, but he got railroaded because they wanted to set an example as well as getting some good press for the alphabet agencies. They tried to make the guy look like some sort criminal mastermind when he was really just a moron who was in way over his head. It's hard for me to reconcile that when the feds don't do shit about illegal immigration that has dangerous cartel members showing up over the border and taking over apartment complexes.

Ultimately, it's more of a question of how much the guy truly facilitated all this stuff. Yeah, he probably does deserve to serve a sentence for hosting the medium through which drugs were trafficked, but a life sentence as if he was the one dealing directly in every case is ridiculous. The only reason he got fucked so hard is that he went about it in a novel way.

Or just a pre-emptive "put your dicks away, we don't know yet"

Letting it ride; dooming is for the weak.

- AZ goes comfortably Trump this cycle; GA is a bit closer but also swings back to Trump by a 2-3% margin
- NC should go red again based off of early vote returns, similar margin to GA
- PA also should swing Red based off of early voting; the Dem early voting firewall is down 700K from 2020 and Independents should swing Trump this time. I have him taking the state by 200K+ votes
- Michigan surprises; the labor union shift, diminished Muslim support, and decreased black turnout cost Kamala the state by less than 100K votes
- Wisconsin will be the closest Rust Belt state again. I live here and it really does feel 50-50. I'm giving it to Trump as I think they struggle to ballot harvest Milwaukee like they did 4 years ago and GOP enthusiasm is up. Trump by ~50K votes.
- Nevada will be very tight and will be counting votes for weeks; that said I think it goes Trump by around 25K votes. Ralston copes.
- New Hampshire is my fun surprise and biggest reach; current poll margin is only +3.5% Dem on RCP believe it or not. Hillary won this state by a mere 0.3% in 2016. Trump wins by less than 10K votes this time.
