Cruz and Rubio seem to have attached themselves to Trump to ride his coat tails even though they are former adversaries of his. Paul by comparison is generally supportive of him but also is willing to voice his disapproval on certain things.
Isnt that what we want? For our side to not be retard faggots and be able to set aside shit they disagree on to work together?

I'll never forgive or forget Rubio for his Gang of 8 bullshit. He completely sold us all out during the Obama era over illegal immigration for a little bit of clout, and I don't think he even ended up getting it.
I'm glad he could see the direction the wind is blowing and is supporting Trump now, but he's every bit as bad as people say Ted Cruz is if not worse, only I actually like lyin' Ted for some reason.

I don't think Rand has ever done anything explicitly anti-Trump, he's just not fellating the guy like everybody else is, which I can respect. I think he's fine where he is right now anyway. I wouldn't want him to step down to join the Trump cabinet.
I totally get it. The Gang of 8 shit was infuriating, and he deserved every bit of the mud that Trump threw at him during the 2016 primaries. It's part of his record, and it's fair game to criticize it.

Based on his actions since, though ... I dunno, I chalk it up to him being a young and dumb senator who got himself persuaded by the wrong crowd of Republicans early in his career, and he learned his lesson. He's done nothing since that's pissed me off and has remained pretty damn based.

I think that Ted Cruz is infinitely worse than Rubio, personally. Cruz is still totally sour grapes about needing Trump to win; he tried to throw Trump under the bus again in 2021 after J6 ... Glad that Tucker absolutely eviscerated him for that. I still want Cruz to win his seat in Texas because it's certainly better than the alternative, but good lord, I wish Texas would put up somebody new. Trump isn't going to be around forever to save Lyin' Ted's ass.

I do agree that Rand is more valuable in the Senate than in Trump's cabinet. Would still be nice for him to offer words of support to Trump though; not like he's at any risk of losing his seat in Kentucky, after all.
