Because egos, more seriously because they have become so incompetent at understanding what the common man wants that their thought process has devolved to “Hey, you like Harrison Ford? Well he thinks Trump is poo poo, you don’t disagree with Mr Ford do you?” despite the answer being “I like Harrison Ford as an actor, not as a person to get my political commentary from.”

I'll never forgive or forget Rubio for his Gang of 8 bullshit. He completely sold us all out during the Obama era over illegal immigration for a little bit of clout, and I don't think he even ended up getting it.
I'm glad he could see the direction the wind is blowing and is supporting Trump now, but he's every bit as bad as people say Ted Cruz is if not worse, only I actually like lyin' Ted for some reason.

I don't think Rand has ever done anything explicitly anti-Trump, he's just not fellating the guy like everybody else is, which I can respect. I think he's fine where he is right now anyway. I wouldn't want him to step down to join the Trump cabinet.

There is a lot of things I can hate on Vince Russo for. But I can say this he ruined far fewer wrestlers careers than Jim cornette did.

@Falcos_Commisar - unfortunately my concern is the TDS hatred is so deep seated that they won't accept another 4 years of him on any level.
Trump represents to them everything wrong with America he and his supporters are all the evil gop bigots who want to murder brown and queer people.

Not in the slightest. The only thing similar between them is having 2 non-consecutive terms and a dislike for big Government, but anti-Government sentiment was hardly unique to Cleveland.
Aside from Ronald Reagan, I'd say the most apt comparison for Trump is McKinley. Trump is championing protective tariffs and has mentioned McKinley by name while doing so, because that was very much his thing. Beyond that, there's also the fact that they both inherited a depression, as well as McKinley's Presidency seeing the creation of the Fourth Party System, whilst Trump has almost assuredly seen the creation of the Seventh Party System at this point due to the massive political realignment with figures like RFK Jr, Tulsi Gabbard, the Cheneys, etc. switching affiliation.
Also, both of them were shot.

Cruz and Rubio seem to have attached themselves to Trump to ride his coat tails even though they are former adversaries of his. Paul by comparison is generally supportive of him but also is willing to voice his disapproval on certain things.

Elon was hedging until Trump almost got his head blown off. RFK Jr. was giving lifelines to both candidates, and took Trump when he responded. I really don't know what's wrong with Rand. Endorsements mean jackshit unless it's from a ethnic minority group that makes the difference, so he's just being salty. Even Massie gave his nod.
