Even back when I was a Rekieta fan, I always thought it was kinda scummy that he never shared the money. Even if it’s like 50% to Nick and 50% split between whoever was a guest.

Imagine if you’re a carpenter. And one of your friends is also a carpenter. One day he invites you to come help him build a kitchen along with two other buddies. You all work together, kitchen gets built. Client is happy, and pays your friend. You expect a cut. Maybe not 25% since it was his client and all, but SOMETHING.

But your friend goes: “No guys, it’s all good! You see, when people see how AWESOME this kitchen is, they’ll see your name on it too! And then when THEY want a kitchen built, they’ll hire you! And then YOU keep ALL the money!”

Fuck you Nick, you cheapskate asshole.
You are going to get autistic arguments regarding the use of future enjoyment of the prestige associated with the building of that kitchen.

He was always a flawed guy. He constantly engaged in over the top and often questionable behavior as a prosecutor. Back in the day, he was the master of the perp walk. Of using the perp walk for media purposes against the defendant and to promote himself in the media. Since then, its somehow become normalized. But it was always rather awful.

He was also known in New York for arresting people, doing perp walks of people, announcing a charge, then either reducing the charge or not charging the person at all. Essentially creating a perception with the public that was false though press conferences and perp-walk media events around a charge that he almost certainly knew he could never successfully sustain in court.

There's a level of showmanship that works. He was aware of that and deployed it (imo) well, along with being a really good prosecutor. And sure the Kidder, Peabody guys got perp-walked and pretty quickly dropped (and I do appreciate the damage to the justice system by doing that stuff prematurely or without basis). But Michael Millken and Ivan Boesky were great gets. And the mob stuff was fantastic (though ironic now given Trump's loooong connections).

And SDNY is the district, in many ways. I even liked him as a Mayor (unpopular opinion, I know. But I'm telling you- that was a golden era for NYC...but we can avoid that debate.). And I have it on good authority he was exceptionally sharp and incisive (and frankly intimidating in certain ways) in that era. But then 9/11, and then he got high(er) on fumes...and in the last decade (more?) he's just lost the plot. Sloppy, lap-dogging, spewing nonsense at times. He's had the stench of desperation (to me) for the last decade. It makes no logical sense from a legacy perspective, as he has had enough of everything for a lifetime. Yet he seems to keep trying to get back rather than moving to some kind of dignified emeritus status, but all he's done is show imperfection. Weird.

Oh, lol, I have been out of the loop. Did not realize he was finally disbarred in NY just this year. What an ignominious end.

Wtf is that kitchen man…

If you know you’re going to stream, at least tidy it up a little. He has time to shoot pedofiles superchats, but can’t take ten minutes to put things where they belong so it doesn’t look like a bomb went off?!
He could have put all the crap in a tub out of sight, but Nick has no shame.
Reminder, this is after his parents came over and cleaned up.
His parents cleaned up months ago. You didn't honestly expect that Nick and Kayla would keep it clean, did you?

WOW I apparently am super far behind on the cooking stream but a few points: #1 why would you post sandwiches if you're about to cook pasta? What, are you too cool to eat what they're eating? Or are you poisoning them?

2) Probably a supervised visitation. He's been bold on twitter because he knew this was coming. This is the answer to the bold tweets

3) April was kicked out for this. This explains Nick's boldness, and her sorrow. He knew this was coming - gotta kick out the whore for the big family reunion.

Open to correction - still catching up. The fuck would you make sandwiches if you're gonna make pasta for the family??? Same carbs - eat the damn pasta

When and how did I establish an attorney client relationship with Balldo?

Its MINNESOTA LAW NERD!

Under Minnesota Law, everyone who talks to Nick is his client. Nick would never actually speak to anyone he didn't consider a client.

So stop talking about Nick and his case because MINNESOTA LAW. You can't possibly understand it with an Ohio or NEW YORK CITY understanding of the law. You can only know about it if you are Nick.

MINNESOTA LAW!

Now GET IN THAT LOCKER!

He scammed them. There is no other explanation on the radical shift.

New stream?

I don't think Nick consciously set out to scam them but it amounted to the same thing in the end. I say that because Nick was still coping about getting a contract renewal at the end of last year, worse than that he thought he could negotiate more favourable terms for himself. He was completely delusional about his position, probably because his brain was Swiss cheese at that point. What happened to Nick could be regarded as "Sudden Wealth Syndrome" or "Lottery Winner Syndrome" or "Rich Nigger Syndrome" whichever you think applies best.
White should take Nick publicly saying that he's incompetent to the judge and ask to withdraw.

And that meal looks gross.
If Nick already knows this and is keeping him on regardless then he really has no ground to stand on with "ineffective assistance of council", not to mention the amount of Backseat Lawyering that's likely going on between White and Rekieta, he really is a fool of a client.

Not to discourage you (especially as that sounds pretty interesting), what exactly would make Nick a hero? The most heroic action Nick has ever taken was giving Vic Mignogna the chance to face the accusations which let Nick build a large chunk of his audience and got his family lawyer a rather juicy case.
Not particularly as a "heroic" person, but more a famous person, or at least once-famous who fell hard. We read Oedipus Rex in class, and we studied the whole thing of "noble stature, tragic flaw, fall from grace, punishment exceeding the crime, hero gaining something from the experience, and catharsis".

I don't know why he posted the sandwiches, but there was a gap of at least a couple of hours between the sandwiches and dinner.
